The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A low kick from Nerk is predictable there letting Slater counter with a right hand.
It looks like Wes Nerk has been cut. Slater throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Nerk's head. Slater lands a big head kick that sends Nerk tumbling to the mat! Slater takes a step backwards and waves Nerk back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Nerk is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Slater and Nerk are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Slater throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Nerk into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Slater knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Osdl. Osdl is looking to clinch. Irvin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Osdl's half guard. Osdl flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Osdl is looking to get back to full guard here but Irvin has managed to pass to side control instead. A lull in the action here as Irvin stalls from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Irvin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Irvin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Irvin controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Irvin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Irvin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Irvin advances to full mount. Osdl tries to get back to half guard but can't. Irvin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Osdl tries to control Irvin's body but Irvin pushes him off. Osdl squirms to his side and now Irvin has his back! You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Irvin lands with a hammerfist to the side of Osdl's head. Irvin is working for a rear naked choke. Osdl is not defending it well and Irvin has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Osdl refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Osdl's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fresh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Murphy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fresh somewhat. Murphy cracks Fresh with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Murphy has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Fresh to stand back up!

It looks like Doug Fresh has been cut. Murphy batters Fresh with a massive right followed by a huge left! Fresh is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Murphy lands a final crushing right hand to drop Fresh to the mat with a gruesome thud! Murphy is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rautio ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Mikko Rautio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Amhead ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rautio moves away. Rautio avoids the body shot from Amhead.
Rautio throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Amhead slips under a jab. Amhead tries to close the distance and clinch but Rautio swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Amhead slips under a jab from Rautio. More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rautio from any more punishment! Rautio complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Logan on his heels. He'll look to pass Logan's guard now, I'm sure. Watson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Watson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Logan on the ground. Logan wants to stand but Watson is controlling the position. Watson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Watson looking to pass the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Watson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Logan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Watson. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Logan shoots in looking for a takedown. Watson tries to sprawl out of it but Logan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Watson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Logan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Watson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Watson drives through with a takedown into guard. Logan wants to stand and escape but Watson is having none of it. Logan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Logan wants to stand but Watson is controlling the position.

Logan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Watson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Logan landing with the ground and pound. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Watson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Watson drives through with a takedown into guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Logan keeping full guard, as Watson tries to pass. Watson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Watson wants to pass to mount but Logan is defending the position. Watson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Logan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Logan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Watson lands a couple of decent looking shots. Logan is trying to control the position but Watson postures up. Logan trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Watson pushes Logan away with a front kick. A momentary lapse in concentration from Logan enables Watson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Logan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Watson tries to free his leg and advance position but Logan is retaining full guard. Watson is in close to Logan's body, working some short punches and elbows. Logan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Watson content to stall in guard here.

Hands slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lasnur looks winded! Hands moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Hands tries to move to mount but Lasnur blocks the move with his legs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hands decides to stand back up.
