The bell rings for round one and we are underway! May scores with a takedown into Kohler's guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. May is sitting in close to Kohler's body. Kohler has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! May is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, May is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kohler.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Blade sizes up Parata with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The Blade needs to keep his hands up - Parata had a free shot at his head there. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Parata. The Blade takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. The Blade tries to close the distance and clinch but Parata swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Parata! But no joy. The Blade scores with a one two! Parata had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Parata waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract The Blade. Parata takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. The Blade lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The Blade fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Parata, pushing him back against the ropes. A short right from Parata on the inside. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. The Blade is looking to control Parata's arms but Parata gets an underhook and turns him. Now The Blade has his back to the ropes. Parata dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes. The Blade misses with a short punch on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Blade working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. The referee is keeping an eye on Parata - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Parata will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning The Blade up against the ropes. Parata is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Kiri Parata. The Blade takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. The Blade lands a lovely overhand right. Parata dodges the punch combination from The Blade.

and Parata counters with a nice uppercut. Parata misses with a straight left. The Blade misses with a straight right. The Blade chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Parata can pounce on him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Blade connects with a right hand. Parata shakes it off. The Blade looks to throw the jab but Parata is out of range. Parata has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. The Blade misses with a right hand and Parata counters with a low kick, right behind The Blade 's knee. The Blade throws a jab when Parata was well out of range. Parata scores with a leg kick.

Parata lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Parata lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The Blade with a nice cross. The Blade stuns Parata with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. The Blade throws a right hand that Parata ducks under and follows up with a left that Parata also avoids with ease. Parata tries a quick counter leg kick but The Blade is wise to it. The Blade thows a left - swing and a miss! Parata connects with an inside leg kick. The Blade on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Parata. Parata obviously looking to wear him down.
Parata scores with a push kick. The Blade is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. The Blade uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Parata.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parata throws a combination but it was largely blocked by The Blade. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The Blade misses with a double jab.
Parata lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. The Blade bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Parata dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on The Blade. That did some damage! The Blade with a body punch. A glancing blow. Parata blocks a jab. The Blade doesn't manage to clinch there - Parata circles away.

A close round but Kiri Parata will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The Blade wants to clinch up but Parata keeps it at a distance. Parata is clearly trying to counter these attacks from The Blade with a body shot. Parata cracks the inside of The Blade's front leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Blade throws a right hand that misses

Parata feints and then cracks The Blade's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow The Blade down. Parata cracks The Blade with an open hand slap. The Blade takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Parata avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The Blade throws a combination that misses and Parata counters with a nice uppercut. Kiri Parata seems to be getting the better of the standup. The Blade clinches up with Parata and pushes him back against the ropes. The Blade slowing the pace effectively. Parata wants to stall.

Parata pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The Blade throws out a powerful jab. Parata cracks The Blade with an open hand slap. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Parata looks to land a combination. The Blade sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The Blade throws a series of punches but Parata avoids them all with ease. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The Blade takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Boris The Blade. I think Parata has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Djisamsoe doesn't succeed with the takedown and Djisamsoe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Djisamsoe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mendez pinned against the ropes. Mendez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mendez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Djisamsoe circles away. Djisamsoe appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Mendez drives through with a takedown into guard. Mendez throwing strikes from guard but Djisamsoe blocks nicely. Mendez with a flurry of punches that miss. Mendez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Djisamsoe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! Djisamsoe seems to have locked his on tight now - Mendez screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Djisamsoe, as he picks up the win!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weewax takes one to the chin there. Weewax looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Cabrun keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Weewax looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Weewax shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cabrun defends it nicely. Cabrun scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Cabrun moves into range and connects with a jab. Jab from Cabrun. A jab from Weewax misses. Weewax needs to keep his hands up - Cabrun had a free shot at his head there. Weewax takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A lazy left from Cabrun finds it's target. Cabrun displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Weewax throws out the jab. Weewax is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cabrun sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Weewax misses the shot to the body. Lu Cabrun is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cabrun fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Cabrun works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Weewax takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Weewax has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harley Weewax. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cabrun pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Weewax back to the ropes. Cabrun follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Weewax has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Weewax there as he acknowledges the shot.

Cabrun lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Cabrun clobbers Weewax with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Cabrun scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Cabrun avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cabrun looks like he wants to counter punch here. Harley Weewax seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Weewax fails in his attempt to clinch. Cabrun looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Nice straight punches there by Cabrun. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Cabrun. Cabrun connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Weewax momentarily.

Baxter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A nice leg kick lands there from Xuite. Xuite lands with a kick to the ribs.
Xuite scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Baxter shoots in for a takedown but Xuite shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Xuite throws a sloppy head kick and Baxter moves out of range easily. Xuite lands a head kick. Baxter smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Samuel Baxter has been cut. Xuite thuds his shin into the meat of Baxter's side. Xuite thows a body kick. Baxter tries to catch it but that hurt him. Xuite lands with a good body shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Baxter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Baxter goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Xuite has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Baxter but great work by Xuite. Baxter looks winded! Xuite tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Xuite wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baxter keeps working.

He might have it! No, Baxter has escaped the position, nice work there. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Baxter can do anything to dispel that myth. Baxter throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.

That's going to sap some energy. Xuite comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Xuite dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Baxter. That did some damage! Xuite moves into the clinch successfully.
Xuite with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Baxter looking for a takedown. Se Si Xuite has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samuel Baxter. Baxter tries to circle away but Xuite has him pinned against the ropes. Xuite pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Xuite really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Xuite throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Xuite connects with a high kick. Baxter takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Xuite throws a sloppy head kick and Baxter moves out of range easily. Baxter drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Xuite defends it well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Xuite lands a head kick!
Xuite throws a front kick that sends Baxter stumbling back into the ropes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Xuite has Baxter up against the ropes in a clinch.
