The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis is looking to clinch but Orton is avoiding it.
Orton changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Lewis throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Lewis is looking to clinch but Orton is avoiding it.
Lewis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Orton momentarily.
It looks like Randy Orton has been cut. Lewis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Orton darts in and clinches Lewis up against the cage. Lewis goes for a takedown attempt but Orton pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Orton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lewis throws a series of punches but Orton avoids them all with ease. Orton drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lewis defends it well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lewis slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Lewis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Orton defends well. Orton lands a couple of elbows. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lewis is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Orton shoots in for a takedown but Lewis shows good takedown defense. Lewis misses with a hook. Orton ducked under it nicely. Lewis misses with a leg kick and Orton counters with a single leg into guard. Lewis didn't expect that. Lewis wants to sweep here but Orton controlling him for the moment. Lewis is working hard here to advance position. This has been an exciting period of action! Lewis looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Orton puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Orton thows a huge punch but Lewis dodges it nicely.
Orton seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Lewis works his way to full guard. Good work. Orton stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Orton throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Orton manages to hold on to the position though. Lewis is trying to get back to half guard. Orton scores with punches from side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Orton is working Lewis over with some ground and pound from side control. Lewis pushes Orton away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Orton gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Lewis looks to move to half guard but instead Orton has passed into mount! Damn! Orton has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lewis's face.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kottari looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Bak can't hide his disappointment, as Kottari celebrates the victory.

Hall has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A big right from Hall misses. Mitka Boycheck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boycheck lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Proctor circles away quickly and effectively. Proctor now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Boycheck darts in and clinches Proctor up against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Proctor. Boycheck blocks an uppercut.

20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Kessler! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kessler will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Boykin half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Some bone on bone action there as Boykin checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Boykin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kessler sprawls well. Kessler wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boykin gets slowly back to his feet. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kessler has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Kessler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boykin. Kessler pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Boykin tries to close the distance and clinch but Kessler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kessler gets a double leg takedown into Boykin's guard. Boykin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kessler stacks Boykin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kessler! Boykin manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kessler is controlling Boykin's posture. Boykin slips nicely into half guard. Boykin is looking to take a break and control but Kessler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that Dimentiy Boykin will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Boykin fails with a takedown attempt. Kessler cracks Boykin with an open hand slap. Boykin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kessler. Despite the aggression on Kessler's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Boykin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A nice inside leg kick there by Kessler. That's going to slow Boykin down. Kessler tries to land a front kick but Boykin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Kessler tries to sprawl but Boykin drives through with a takedown into half guard. Boykin is keen to just control but Kessler is a slippery customer. Boykin prevents Kessler from improving his position. Boykin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kessler is just riding it out for now. Boykin eventually gives up the hold. Kessler wants to control but Boykin is keeping busy.

Boykin is keen to just control but Kessler is a slippery customer. Boykin is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Kessler reverses the position - he's now on top in Boykin's guard. Boykin keeping moving, preventing Kessler from controlling successfully. Kessler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kessler trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kessler chips away with some ground and pound. Boykin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Boykin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kessler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Boykin is trying to keep Kessler in close.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mabogo throws a sloppy head kick and Kovalenko counters with a crisp one two that drops Mabogo! Kovalenko thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mabogo to his feet! Mabogo is in big trouble!
