The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burns shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Burns showed some decent athleticism there.
Burns is looking to take a break and control but Maksimushkin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Burns prevents Maksimushkin from standing back up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Burns wants to lay and pray for a moment but Maksimushkin keeps working.

As Rack looks to move away, Gracie throws a big counter combo bu Rack just gets out of the way.
Gracie feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Racks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Rack misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rack takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Cavin Rack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gracie. That's going to slow Rack down.
Gracie avoids the head kick by Rack.
Gracie went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Rack looks for a takedown but Gracie sprawls well.

Rivers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hunt tries to avoid it but Rivers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hunt to the ground. Hunt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rivers throws a series of punches but Hunt moves out of range.
