0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Valtellini! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ben Hemmingworth and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valtellini looks to clinch and Rhea counters with a one-two to the body. Rhea lands a leg kick that knocks Valtellini off balance momentarily. Rhea ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Valtellini tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Rhea counters with a single leg into guard. Valtellini didn't expect that. Rhea trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rhea stays in close to Valtellini's body and controls the position. Valtellini wants to stand up but Rhea is controlling him. Rhea is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rhea prevents Valtellini from getting back to his feet. Rhea throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Valtellini works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Rhea slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rhea keeps the fight on the outside. Rhea scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Valtellini wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Rhea has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Valtellini's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Valtellini is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Rhea!

Ross Rhea decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tokalu shoots in and drives through. Vanderhose sprawls well. Vanderhose looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Vanderhose fails to land with a series of punches.

It looks like Casper Vanderhose has been cut. Tokalu is looking to clinch. Some wild striking there from Tokalu.
Nice takedown defense from Vanderhose. No joy for Tokalu on that attempt. No joy there for Tokalu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tokalu batters Vanderhose with a massive right followed by a huge left! Vanderhose is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Tokalu lands a final crushing right hand to drop Vanderhose to the mat with a gruesome thud! Tokalu is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Titsqueezer stuffs the takedown. Titan takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Polibotes Titan has been cut. Titsqueezer moves in looking to clinch but Titan pushes him off. Titan dives in and scores a takedown into Titsqueezer's guard. Titan wants to control from the top but Titsqueezer keeps moving. Titan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Titan prevents Titsqueezer from getting back to his feet. Titan throws a big elbow that misses. Titsqueezer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Titsqueezer trying to strike off his back.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Titan wants it to stay on the feet. Titsqueezer slaps away a takedown attempt from Titan, before circling back to the center of the mat. Titsqueezer shoots in for a double leg but Titan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Titan with the counter takedown but Titsqueezer avoids it easily. Titsqueezer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Titan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Titsqueezer has a takedown stuffed. Titan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Titsqueezer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Titan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Titsqueezer's half guard. Titsqueezer regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Titan. Titsqueezer wants to stand and escape but Titan is having none of it.

GoldenEyes is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sands instigates a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Sands dominated that round. The cut man is working on Perrin GoldenEyes's cut. That's time! GoldenEyes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sands lands a big right hand that sends GoldenEyes crashing to the mat! Sands stays standing though and waves GoldenEyes back to his feet! Oh GoldenEyes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A combination from Sands does no damage. GoldenEyes seems to have got his legs back now. GoldenEyes closes the distance looking to clinch and Sands counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Sands has GoldenEyes up against the cage in a clinch.

GoldenEyes gets through Sands's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! GoldenEyes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sands dances in with a quick combination. GoldenEyes is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Sands snaps GoldenEyes's head back. GoldenEyes stumbles backwards against the cage. Sands steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with GoldenEyes's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. GoldenEyes just didn't come prepared.

Bauer is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Lynch bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

"I don't think so" says Leary as he avoids it easily. Texii dives in for a single leg takedown but Leary sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Muh Texii. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice sprawl there from Leary as Texii shoots in. Leary tries to counter with a clinch but Texii shakes him off and moves away. Nice takedown defense from Leary. No joy for Texii on that attempt. Texii darts in and clinches Leary up against the cage. Leary is trying to force a seperation but Texii has the dominant position. Leary is trying to break the clinch but Texii is controlling him. Leary lands a takedown into guard.
Texii looking for a triangle here. Leary is fighting it but it looks tight! Texii pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Leary is tapping out - this one is all over!

Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. A short right hand to the side of the head by Stewart. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Smith just misses with a elbow thrown towards Stewart's brow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stewart has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Stewart is looking to break free of the clinch but Smith has double underhooks. Smith misses with a short punch on the inside. Smith throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stewart blocks it with crossed arms. Stewart just leaning against Smith, taking a breather. A knee to the head by Smith.

Smith tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Stewart is trying to break the clinch but Smith has him pressed against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Stewart as Smith tries to tie him up. Smith looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Smith keeps control of Stewart as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Stewart jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smith walks away with a smile on his face. Stewart gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Stewart lands a nice shot to the body.

Stewart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stewart misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
Smith fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stewart. Stewart throws a right and a left that Smith avoids nicely. Stewart has taken the fight to the clinch.
