We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Battaglia looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Nirman Hassan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hassan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hassan moves in looking to clinch but Falcone pushes him off.
A decent looking cross lands there for Falcone.
Hassan on the wrong end of a nice hook.

A combination from Hassan does no damage.

Hassan rushes Falcone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Falcone manages to break the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hassan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

letting Falcone counter with a right hand.
That kick from Falcone tenderised Hassan's leg. Hassan is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hassan tries to close the distance and clinch but Falcone swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Falcone stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Falcone bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hassan's head backwards.
Falcone swats away the attempt to clinch by Hassan.

A jab from Hassan misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Falcone misses its target.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Falcone, as that shot connected.

Hassan clinches.
Falcone taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Falcone lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Falcone throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hassans head.
Falcone dips a shoulder and cracks Hassan with a mighty uppercut! Hassan falls back against the cage and Falcone unloads with a barrage of strikes! Hassan is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Falcone screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Laukkanen drops his hands momentarily. Ngata doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Laukkanen staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Laukkanen doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
