0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Upknuk Pro! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.

Pro throws the kick towards the body but Jefferson avoids it. Upknuk Pro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jefferson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jefferson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jefferson tightens his grip and picks Pro up, before dumping him to the ground. Pro manages to land in guard. Pro has momentary wrist control but Jefferson slips an elbow through the middle. Jefferson slips nicely into half guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jefferson lands a heavy elbow. Jefferson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Tubbs tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Tubbs has had enough of the clinch but Igi keeps him there for the moment. Igi prevents Tubbs from breaking the clinch. Igi blocking some punches.

Tubbs throws a lazy right hand but Igi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Tubbs stalks Igi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Igi's face. Igi staggers backwards, shaken. Tubbs connects with a crisp jab. Igi slips a jab and a cross from Tubbs.
Tubbs connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Igi throws a right and a left that Tubbs avoids nicely. Tubbs lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Igi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Tubbs throws a predictable looking body shot
and Igi moves into the clinch.
Tubbs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Igi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tubbs trying to hold on to Igi's head to control him but Igi postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Igi holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Tubbs is trying to force a seperation but Igi has the dominant position.

Igi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Igi slips a straight right by Tubbs. Tubbs tries to bum rush Igi with a series of wild strikes but Igi uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tubbs moves out of range of the body kick. Tubbs stuns Igi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Igi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tubbs manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tubbs will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Igi can do anything to dispel that myth. Tubbs throws a strike but Igi rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Igi trying to control but Tubbs is working from the bottom.

Yap avoids the head kick by Cyde.
Yap lands a two punch combo.
A lazy body kick from Yap and Cyde counters with a body kick that stops Yap in his tracks momentarily. Yap shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cyde but Cyde pushes him off and we're back to square one. Xavier Cyde has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Yap.

Yap feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yap trying to control the position from guard on top but Cyde is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jay Yap dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jay Yap showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

St Pierre uses his free foot to push down on Abu Basha's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Abu Basha.
St Pierre is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Abu Basha has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Tavi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Yamashi keeps the fight on the outside. Tavi missing with a left hand there. Yamashi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Yamashi shoots for a double leg takedown but Tavi sprawls well. He's pushed Yamashi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tetsuzan Yamashi. Yamashi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yamashi on the wrong end of a nice jab. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yamashi is defended easily by Tavi. Tavi bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tavi dips to his left and cracks Yamashi with an uppercut! Tavi swinging wildly here.

Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A jab from Tavi finds it's way through Yamashi's defenses. Tavi looks to score with a jab to the body but Yamashi is just out of range.

Rikki Tavi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tetsuzan Yamashi's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Tavi cracks the inside of Yamashi's front leg. Yamashi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tavi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yamashi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Tavi lands a nice shot that snaps Yamashi's head back.

Tavi tries to clinch but Yamashi moves out of range.

Tavi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Yamashi doesn't seem bothered though. Tavi thuds a left hand into Yamashi's body. A nice inside leg kick there by Tavi. That's going to slow Yamashi down. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tavi moves into the clinch. Yamashi looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Tavi lands a shot to the body. Tavi just leaning against Yamashi, taking a breather.
Tavi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Good leg kick by Tavi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
And that's the end of the fight! Rikki Tavi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Tavi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Soral Punkass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Punkass tries to clinch but Kim moves out of range. Punkass thuds a left hand into Kim's body. An inside leg kick lands from Punkass. A nice inside leg kick there by Punkass. That's going to slow Kim down. Punkass thumps Kim with a low kick. A thudding body kick lands there by Punkass!
Punkass lands with a slapping head kick. Punkass scoring well with a low kick there.

Punkass breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kim closes the distance and clinches up with Punkass, looking for a takedown. Kim pushes Punkass against the cage but Punkass circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Punkass throws a leg kick which misses Kim's front leg but catches the back leg as Kim tries to avoid it. Kim is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Punkass looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Punkass tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kim takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Good leg kick by Punkass there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Punkass dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kim. That did some damage! Kim takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
