The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolt stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rolt wants it to stay on the feet.
Rolt changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Rolt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tran wants to clinch.
Rolt is looking to counter the offense by Tran and move into the clinch.

Rolt has clasped his hands together around Tran's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Rolt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hossam El Masry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Putra Rajasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Putra Rajasa struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Putra Rajasa was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

and Hogan counters with a low kick, right behind Smith 's knee.
Hogan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Rangi Smith has been cut.

Oooooh!!! Hogan has knocked Smith down with a huge combo! Hogan steps away and waves a wobbly Smith back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Joe Hogan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hogan. Smith shrugs it off though.
Hogan circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Smith drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Hogan follows Smith to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
