Lesnar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Davis was covering up waiting for the punch and Lesnar finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Davis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Serget comes into the arena with Friends in lower places blaring out of the sound system. Wilson has chosen Jaded as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Bob Serget has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bob Serget seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Serget shoots in looking for a takedown. Wilson tries to sprawl out of it but Serget keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wilson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Serget shoots for a double leg takedown but Wilson sprawls well. He's pushed Serget's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wilson is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Wilson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Serget is controlling him well.

Piolet Wilson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Piolet Wilson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Bob Serget decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Gago turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gago manages to end up in side control.

My spies in Montreal Elite Gym inform me that Gago has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
You can see the frustration on Meech's face as Gago controls the position.

Gago is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Meech is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Gago is working to tighten his grip on Meech's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Meech has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gago is really squeezing tight and eventually Meech passes out! Gago breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Shaughnessy misses with a two punch combination.
Scott seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Scott fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shaughnessy manages to avoid it.

Shaughnessy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Scott stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Scott measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Shaughnessy! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lesnar lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Lesnar is looking to defend but Noonan has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lesnar ! Noonan pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lesnar taps out and this one is all over!
