Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Snead! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Fertus! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snead throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fertus counters with a one-two to the body. Snead tries to clinch up but Fertus circles away and keeps his distance. Fertus looks like he wants to counter punch here. The fight moves into the clinch position. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Fertus is trying to force a seperation but Snead has the dominant position. A frustrated look appears on Fertus's face as he tries to break the clinch. Fertus is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Fertus managing to block the knees to the body from Snead.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snead taking a breather. Fertus scores with an uppercut up the middle. Snead tries to throw a body punch but Fertus avoids it by throwing Snead back against the cage. A shot in the inside from Fertus. Fertus tries to circle away but Snead has him pinned against the cage. Fertus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Snead for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Snead controlling the action here for a moment.

This has been an exciting period of action! Snead lands a big right hook! Fertus looks hurt but is still standing! Snead lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Fertus falls down and Snead dives in with a huge hammer fist! Fertus's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Snead runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

JaggerJack throws a hook to the side of Ray's head but Ray sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. JaggerJack lands a right hook to the body.
JaggerJack drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. JaggerJack is looking to take a break and control but Ray is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ray is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ray throwing strikes from guard but JaggerJack blocks nicely. JaggerJack wants to sweep here but Ray controlling him for the moment. Ray trying to control the position from guard on top but JaggerJack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Nice straight punches there by Ray. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ray. JaggerJack looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Ray preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ray keeping moving, preventing JaggerJack from controlling successfully. JaggerJack throws a big right hand that misses. JaggerJack preventing the sweep. That's four minutes gone in the round. JaggerJack throws a big elbow that misses. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. JaggerJack trying to control but Ray is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ray has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from JaggerJack finds it's way round the side to connect with Ray's head. Ray fails with a takedown attempt. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. A chopping leg kick lands by JaggerJack. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ray on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Ray drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
And that's the end of the fight! Grimmjow JaggerJack comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well JaggerJack has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Tyroon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Down. Tyroon swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Tyroon connects with a crisp jab. Down takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Beat Down has been cut. Tyroon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Down slips under a jab. Beat Down seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Down connects with a body shot that sends Tyroon's belly button to the back. Down scores with a hook. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yen throws a right and a left that Kothciushco avoids nicely. Yen tries to land a front kick but Kothciushco steps back. Kosugi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spishak manages to avoid it. Spishak has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Kosugi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. The fight stays on the outside here - Kosugi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Spishak circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kosugi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Spishak has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kosugi finds it's way round the side to connect with Spishak's head.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aureus closes the distance and clinches. Papadopoulos is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Aureus is defending well. Papadopoulos has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Aureus avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Papadopoulos is trying to drag Aureus to the mat but Aureus just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ghiorghos Papadopoulos. That's going to take a lot out of him. Knees to the body from Aureus.

It looks like Staph Aureus has been cut. Papadopoulos scoring with some ground and pound. Papadopoulos missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Papadopoulos postures up in Aureus's guard and throws a big left but Aureus blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone swings widly with a right hand
and Drogo counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Stone looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Drogo wants to work for an arm triangle but Stone is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Drogo prevents Stone from improving his position. Drogo working the head and body with strikes. Drogo prevents Stone from improving his position. Stone makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stone. Stone wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stone is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Stone wants to free his trapped foot but Drogo is holding on for dear life with his legs. Stone missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Stone passes to side control.
