Chuachai throws a head kick but Datal moves out of range.
Chuachai connects with an inside leg kick.
Datal swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Chuachai makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Datal lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Datal has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Datal misses the shot to the body.
Datal lands with a right and another and another! Chuachai is in big trouble! Datal lands again and this time it's lights out for Chuachai! A quality knockout there for Datal.

Brooks is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Toyotoku is just riding it out for now. Brooks eventually gives up the hold.

Summers lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sakushi closes the distance and clinches up with Summers, looking for a takedown. Sakushi pushes Summers against the cage but Summers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sakushi or perhaps it was just good defense by Summers, which made it look bad.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Nygma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson comes into the arena with John Denver - Country roads blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
