11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Thor Boschat! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boschat drops Willis with a beautiful combination! Willis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Boschat is looking for the KO!
It looks like Patrick Willis has been cut. Boschat throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Willis throws a combination that misses and Boschat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Boschat stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boschat wants it to stay on the feet. BOOM! Boschat lands a beautiful left hook that drops Willis. Willis tries to recover but Boschat is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Willis lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frisk looks for a takedown but Brandy sprawls well. Brandy feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Frisk's calf. Brandy lands with an uppercut that bounces Frisk off the cage and back into range. Brandy throws a leg kick but Frisk checks it. Brandy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Brandy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Frisk was well out of range. Poor timing from Brandy. Brandy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Frisk.
Kenneth Frisk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brandy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Frisk moves away. Frisk wants to counter with a clinch but Brandy pushes him away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frisk walks into a left hand. Brandy moves out of range of the body kick. Frisk manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Brandy on his heels. He'll look to pass Brandy's guard now, I'm sure. Brandy wants to sweep here but Frisk controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frisk slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Frisk wants to stand but Brandy is controlling his posture from full guard. Frisk is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Brandy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Frisk trying to control the position from guard on top but Brandy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brandy tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brandy has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Frisk on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Frisk shoots in for a double leg but Brandy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Frisk throws a series of punches but Brandy moves out of range. Brandy just misses with a punch to the body.
Frisk with the counter takedown but Brandy avoids it easily. Frisk lands with a nice combination. Brandy backs away looking to recover.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Frisk fails in his attempt to clinch. Sloppy strikes from Frisk. Those never looked like landing. A solid leg kick lands there for Brandy.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Frisk. Brandy sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Frisk not landing any meaningful shots this time. Frisk trying to pass the guard but Brandy defending well. Brandy trying to control here.
Brandy is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Frisk is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Frisk is looking for a kimura but Brandy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Frisk to get the leverage. Frisk tries to stand but can't do so whilst Brandy controls his leg. Frisk is thwarting Brandy's attempts to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brandy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Frisk. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frisk has closed the distance and engaged Brandy in a clinch.

That was a bit too telegraphed. Frisk with a poor takedown and Brandy counters with a takedown into side control. Brandy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Frisk keeps working. Brandy has knee on belly and moves into mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brandy cracks Frisk with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vanzetti stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vanzetti wants it to stay on the feet. Vanzetti cracks Rose with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Rose shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vanzetti napping and manages to drive through into side control! Rose tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rose has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Vanzetti is looking for a sweep. Vanzetti told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. You can see the frustration on Vanzetti's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rose working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaak stuffs the takedown. A big left from Jaak misses. And Tate tries to counter it with a takedown but Jaak pushes his down on his head and steps out. A punch combination from Jaak misses. Tate uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jaak.
Tate fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jaak to the ground. Tate is now in Jaak's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
