The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tono, as that shot connected.
Tono scores with a shot to the body.
Groper shoots for a takedown but Tono saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tono lands a head shot.
Tono misses with a body kick.
Tono scores with a leg kick.
Tono scores with the left hand. Groper knows he should have avoided that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Tono counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Groper tries to move into range but Tono moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tono is looking to work some ground and pound but Groper has wrist control.

Groper has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tono can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Groper definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tono loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Tono working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Groper lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.


Groper drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tono manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Groper has Tono in his guard.

Andrzej comes into the arena with Paluch - Wracam do domu blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pip Pop was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuji Tamashihiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dion The Cool Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuji Tamashihiro had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Palowakski creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Mabuva's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Mabuva drops to his knees and Palowakski pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
