The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Neal with a nice cross. The fight stays on the outside here - Batani looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Neal scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Batani doesn't seem bothered though. Neal misses with a series of wild punches.
Neal cracks Batani with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Neal ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Neal could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Neal throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Batani. Batani tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Neal defends well and Batani ends up having to push Neal into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Neal lands a really nice looking cross but Batani seems unphased.
Batani goes for a double leg but Neal avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Neal continues to drive forward. We've been told by Neal's head coaches at Cylon Training Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Batani fails with the takedown and Neal counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bob Neal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wan Batani. Batani looks winded! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Neal jabs Batani to the body, keeping him at a distance. Nice shot by Neal. Neal lands with a big right hook that stumbles Batani - he's out on his feet here! Neal follows up with another monster hook that separates Batani from consciousness! Batani falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Neal stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rington gets the takedown into side control. Rington wants to stand but McCann has his arm trapped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McCann wants to control but Rington postures up. Rington tries to stand but McCann is controlling his head. Rington tries to stand but McCann controls the position and pulls Rington into his guard. McCann is trying to keep Rington in close.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rington tries to stand but McCann is controlling from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCann moves into the clinch. Rington lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt McCann or not. Rington connects with a nasty looking knee right to McCann's face.

McCann is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. McCann takes a knee to the side of the body. McCann prevents a body shot from Rington . Rington blocks a punch to the side of the head.

McCann is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rington to keep the fight standing.

McCann tries to pull guard but Rington holds him up against the cage and eventually McCann drops back down to his feet.
McCann is looking for a takedown. Moses Rington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nate McCann. McCann wants to get back to striking at distance but Rington won't allow it.
Rington breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McCann with a poor takedown and Rington counters with a straight right hand. McCann tries to clinch up but Rington circles away and keeps his distance. Rington uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McCann. Rington throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. And McCann tries to counter it with a takedown but Rington pushes his down on his head and steps out. McCann pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rington back to the cage. McCann follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Moses Rington has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McCann looks to land a right hand but Rington moved out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCann misses with an uppercut. Rington saw that one coming. Rington lands the left hand. Rington shoots in for a double leg but McCann sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Rington throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McCann paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. McCann drives through and clinches with Rington against the cage.
McCann jumps guard but Rington stands there with McCann around his waist. McCann gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rington drags the fight down to the ground.
Rington is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rington is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. McCann trying to control but Rington is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCann wants to stand and escape but instead Rington has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. McCann connects with a couple of short punches. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rington not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
McCann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rington swivels though and keeps the full guard. McCann would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Moses Rington will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Moses Rington 's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rington . McCann does a little dance to reset his feet. Rington scores with a jab to the body. McCann shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. McCann throws a shot from downtown. Rington moves away and avoids it. Rington throws a leg kick that is checked and McCann counters with a one-two to the body.
Rington is rocked! McCann grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Rington takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! McCann cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Hays has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as McDonald is landing a low percentage of strikes. McDonald shoots in for a double leg but Hays sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hays keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

McDonald tries for a takedown but Hays circles away easily and Hays counters with a solid body kick. That kick from Hays tenderised McDonald's leg. McDonald is trying to keep his angry face on. Hays is looking to slow McDonald down with leg kicks. McDonald changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hays tries to avoid it but McDonald manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hays to the ground. Hays escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hays now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Hays throws a nice outside leg kick. Hays scores with a nice right hand.
Ronnie McDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McDonald takes one to the chin there.

He thinks about going to the ground but Swanson looks back up at him and smiles so Wyatt waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That has opened up John Swanson's cut even more. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wyatt connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Swanson out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Bray Wyatt was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. Newcastle wants to pass the guard but Cardenas is keeping the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luka Jelavic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Mewes! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jelavic connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Mewes throws a right and a left that both miss. Mewes lands a glancing blow to the side of Jelavic's head. Mewes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jelavic manages to avoid it. Mewes catches Jelavic with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Jelavic throws a leg kick which misses Mewes's front leg but catches the back leg as Mewes tries to avoid it. Mewes tries to bum rush Jelavic with a series of wild strikes but Jelavic uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jelavic is looking to counter punch. Jelavic lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Mewes throws a body punch but Jelavic moves out of range. Jelavic fires out a quick counter leg kick but Mewes just manages to avoid it. Mewes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jelavic circles away quickly and effectively. Jelavic stuns Mewes with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Mewes misses with a wild body shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jelavic tries to close the distance and clinch but Mewes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mewes smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Mewes misses with an uppercut. Jelavic saw that one coming. Mewes cracks Jelavic with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. We've been told by Jelavic's head coaches at The Power Plant that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Mewes avoids the head kick by Jelavic.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Jelavic screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Charco has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Beast scores with a nice right hand.

Charco looking to sit in guard and control but Beast gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Beast wants to get up but he can't break Charco's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Charco is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Beast defends well. Johnny Charco has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jab, jab by Beast - just one landing. Beast lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A telegraphed right hand from Beast misses the target. Charco tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Charco shoots for a takedown but Beast saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Beast scores with a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Charco throws the left hand but Beast avoids the punch easily. Beast has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Beast connects with a right hand. Charco shakes it off. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Charco crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Beast - the referee stops the clock and Charco gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Beast. Charco manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Beast cracks the inside of Charco's front leg. Jozef Beast is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Beast takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
And that's the end of the fight! Jozef Beast comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Beast has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jingle doesn't succeed with the takedown and Parke counters with a nice uppercut. A big right from Jingle misses. Jingle moves away from the strike by Parke. Parke blocks a jab. A little jabbing left from Parke on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Jingle throws a right hand that Parke ducks under and follows up with a left that Parke also avoids with ease. Parke throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Parke ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Parke misses with a hook. Jingle ducked under it nicely. Jingle appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Parke just misses with a punch to the body.

It looked like Damozzi was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Haarmann. Haarmann gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Damozzi connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Damozzi lands with a nice body kick. Haarmann just misses with a punch to the body.

Haarmann goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Damozzi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Haarmann but great work by Damozzi.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haarmann gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Damozzi perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Haarmann gets back to full guard.

Haarmann wants to control from the top but Damozzi keeps moving. Haarmann is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Damozzi is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Haarmann drops back, looking for a kneebar! Damozzi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Damozzi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Damozzi! Haarmann is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Damozzi grinds an elbow into Haarmann's temple. Damozzi landing strikes. Haarmann is working to avoid the ground and pound but Damozzi connects with a decent elbow. Haarmann tries to buck Damozzi off but Damozzi is having none of it. Damozzi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Haarmann to see if he's OK. Haarmann tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Damozzi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Haarmann is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Damozzi is putting a hurting on Haarmann here, landing some big shots from side control. Damozzi remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Haarmann tries to improve position but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haarmann struggling a bit here. Damozzi cracks Haarmann with an elbow. That is naaassty. Haarmann is looking to reverse the position. Haarmann is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
