The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tuka closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Tuka looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Noisy is not content to let Tuka control the position.

Noisy throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Noisy gets caught flat footed, as Tuka shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Tuka has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Noisy is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Well Tuka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

David pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
David cracks Larry with an open hand slap.
David stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Larry slips a jab from David.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Larry has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Larry throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
David connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from David lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Larry has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Larry and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
David changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
