Solo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Solo landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

Solo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Solo is trying to get an arm triangle but Russell is defending well.
Russell wants to control but Solo postures up.

Solo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Solo working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Solo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Solo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Solo tries to move to mount but Russell blocks the move with his legs.
Solo lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Russell down.

Solo has hold of Russell's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Russell seems comfortable defending it but Solo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Russell is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Russell is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Solo couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Britian looks to land a combination. Patterson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Bruce Patterson has been cut.
Britian works over Patterson's head and body with a nice combination.

Patterson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Britian looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Patterson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Britian looks calm but he's in trouble here. Patterson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Britian is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Patterson lets go of the hold and Britian can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Boone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Teller throws an overhand right that lands on Boone's shoulder, as Boone tries to avoid the shot.
Boone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boone's coach down at The Armory $475 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Boone's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Teller throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Boone displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Jax Teller has been cut.
Boone pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Teller back to the cage. Boone follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Teller definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Harold Boone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Galt has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
