We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Reefer has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Suri looks to land a combination but Kung avoids it well.
Suri's coach down at aLion's MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Suri's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

We've been hearing reports that Kung has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Suri shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kung's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Suri cracks Kung with an uppercut from hell and Kung crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Suri's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
