Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Solomon Wayne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Han Jee Han! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jee Han shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wayne defends it nicely. Jee Han stuffs the takedown attempt from Wayne. Wayne gets slowly back to his feet. Han Jee Han seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jee Han fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Wayne tries to counter by clinching up but Jee Han breaks away and moves out of range. Excellent takedown into side control there by Wayne. Wayne is looking to take a break and control but Jee Han is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wayne is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jee Han wants to control but Wayne postures up. Jee Han is trying to get back to half guard. Jee Han is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jee Han stops Wayne from passing to mount. You can see the frustration on Jee Han's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Wayne moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Jee Han gets back to half guard. Wayne wants to take a breather but Jee Han is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wayne is thwarting Jee Han's attempts to control the position. Wayne is trying to control. Jee Han wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jee Han looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jee Han wants to control but Wayne is keeping busy and won't allow it. Wayne seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jee Han is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Wayne is tapping! Great win for Jee Han!

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dereck Lewis! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dettman tries for a takedown but Lewis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lewis tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Lewis stuffs the takedown attempt from Dettman. Dettman gets slowly back to his feet. Dettman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lewis swivels and escapes. Lewis changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Dettman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dettman shoots in and drives through. Lewis sprawls well. And Lewis tries to counter it with a takedown but Dettman pushes his down on his head and steps out. Dettman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lewis's waist but Lewis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dettman off to one side. Lewis with the counter takedown but Dettman avoids it easily. Lewis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dettman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dettman lands a jab. William Dettman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dettman tries to clinch up so Lewis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dettman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lewis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Lewis postures up and lands a big shot to Dettman's brow. Dettman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dettman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lewis controls the pace. Lewis passes Dettman's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Dettman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Dettman is trying to stand.
Dettman tries to roll over but Lewis keeps him under control. Lewis tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dettman knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lewis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Lewis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dettman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Lewis is nestled in close to Dettman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Lewis is looking for a kimura here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dettman is in trouble now - Lewis has advanced to mount! Dettman takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Lewis's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patterson slips under a jab. Patterson moves forwards but Obi connects with a nice, crisp jab. Obi sends Patterson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Obi is motioning to the referee to let Patterson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Patterson is rocked! Obi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Patterson is still on wobbly legs! Can Obi finish him? Obi blocks a head kick by Patterson.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Patterson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Obi seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Patterson seems to have recovered his senses. Patterson rushes Obi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Obi misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Patterson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Obi smiles and moves away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ilmarinen fails in his attempt to clinch. Ilmarinen gets a clinch. Ilmarinen takes a shot to the head. Vazquez is looking for a takedown. Ilmarinen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ilmarinen lands a body shot.
Ilmarinen throws a right and a left that both miss. Ilmarinen cracks Vazquez with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ilmarinen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Vazquez to stand back up!
It looks like Israel Vazquez has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ilmarinen plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Vazquez swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Vazquez face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
