The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gustafsson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Gustafsson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gustafsson there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Alex Gustafsson has been cut. Gustafsson moves into the clinch successfully.
Gustafsson tries to pull guard but Kiwi won't allow it.
Gustafsson jumps guard but Kiwi turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Gustafsson is trying to pull guard but Kiwi turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Kace Kiwi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Gustafsson. Kiwi creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. This has been an exciting period of action! Kiwi stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Truth ducks right into an uppercut from Pompier.
It looks like Wayne Truth has been cut. Truth has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Nice body punch from Pompier. Pompier connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Truth covering up! Pompier comes in with a big uppercut and Truth goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Stephane Pompier! Stephane Pompier was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jee Han lands a nice looking body shot.
Jee Han shoots and misses and Myers counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jee Han is lucky that one didn't land flush. A slapping body kick lands there for Myers. No luck with that takedown attempt from Myers. It looked like Jee Han was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Jee Han swinging wildly here.
Jee Han shoots and misses and Myers counters by clinching up. Myers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jee Han shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Han Jee Han. That's going to take a lot out of him. Myers fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Myers shoots in looking for a takedown but Jee Han manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Myers's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Jee Han looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Myers misses with a takedown attempt - Jee Han sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Myers gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jee Han to score an easy takedown into full guard. Myers looks winded! Jee Han drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Jee Han as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Myers screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Jee Han! Nice submission victory there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seraphim loads up on a big right hand but Smith slips the punch. It looked like Smith was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Seraphim takes a swing at Smith's ribcage but misses. As Seraphim tries to get set, Smith tries to push him back and clinch up but Seraphim manages to avoid the attempt. Seraphim fails with a takedown attempt. Seraphim on the wrong end of a nice jab. Smith rushes Seraphim and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Seraphim pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Seraphim stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Seraphim wants it to stay on the feet. Seraphim moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off. Smith moves into the clinch successfully.

Smith scores with a crisp jab that stopped Seraphim in his tracks. Smith fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Seraphim, pushing him back against the cage. Seraphim changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Smith fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Seraphim won't allow Smith to get back to his feet. Seraphim pushes down on Smith's leg and manages to get into half guard. Seraphim working Smith over with strikes.

Smith wants to get back to full guard. Seraphim is trying to control the action in half guard but Smith is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Seraphim on the ground. Smith avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Seraphim. Smith tries to roll over but Seraphim keeps him under control. Smith is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Seraphim jumps into side control! Smith is not content to let Seraphim control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seraphim has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Smith tries to buck Seraphim off but Seraphim is having none of it. Seraphim working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Smith wants to control but Seraphim postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Seraphim throws a right and a left that Smith avoids nicely. Seraphim fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Smith defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Seraphim. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Smith tries to bum rush Seraphim with a series of wild strikes but Seraphim uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Damien Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by Seraphim.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith clinches up with Seraphim and pushes him back against the cage. Smith lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Seraphim lands an uppercut. Smith gets control of Seraphim's arms and successfully pulls guard. Smith will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Seraphim trying to control the position from guard on top but Smith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smith wants to stand up but Seraphim is controlling him. Seraphim is pushing down on Smith's leg trying to pass to half guard. Smith is fighting to maintain full guard but Seraphim has managed to sneak the leg through. Seraphim throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Seraphim perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but John Seraphim will probably get the nod. That's time! Smith's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Seraphim's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Seraphim's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Seraphim throws a body punch but Smith moves out of range. Seraphim throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Smith misses with a combination
and Seraphim counters with a single leg into guard. Smith didn't expect that. Seraphim throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Smith works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Seraphim controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Seraphim working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Seraphim wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving. Seraphim advances to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith is trying to stand back up but Seraphim is controlling him
Seraphim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smith keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seraphim lands strikes from half guard. Seraphim looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Smith with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Smith is rocked! Seraphim passes the guard and advances to mount! Oh Smith is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Seraphim loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Smith scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Seraphim land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Seraphim stands and salutes the crowd.

It looks like Ford Chadne has been cut. Chadne throws a jab when Obi was well out of range. Obi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Chadne misses with a hook to the body
and Chadne takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Chadne defending well as Obi loads up on a big left hand. Chadne has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Chadne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Obi pinned against the cage. Obi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Obi drops Chadne with a beautiful combination! Chadne stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Obi is looking for the KO! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Obi throws a monster overhand right that drops Chadne! Obi follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

A very excited looking Wilson Obi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. Washington slips out almost immediately though and dives into Holiday's guard.

Holiday tries to bench press Washington off him but Washington keeps the position. Washington taking a breather here.

The referee asks Washington politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Washington prefers to stall for the moment though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miranda throws a right hand that Byrd ducks under and follows up with a left that Byrd also avoids with ease. Miranda looks to land a left hand but Byrd moved out of range nicely. Nice body punch from Byrd. Miranda cracks Byrd with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. and Byrd counters with a left to the body. Byrd throws a right hand that Miranda ducks under and follows up with a left that Miranda also avoids with ease. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zu shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense. Zu shoots in but no luck this time. Zu walks into a jab. Lee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Zu throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lee counters with a two punch combo. Zu looks winded! Horrible takedown attempt by Zu or perhaps it was just good defense by Lee, which made it look bad. Bruce Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frankie Zu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee connects with a good right hand that stumbles Zu. Zu circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Zu fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zu paws at him with a jab and circles away. As Lee backs off Zu throws a huge counter combo but Lee manages to avoid it all. Lee rushes Zu and presses him up against the cage. Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lee looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Zu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side. It looked like Lee was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Lee digs a good body shot into Zu's ribs. Lee swinging wildly here.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zu paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lee tries to clinch but Zu moves out of range. Zu throws a counter combo. Zu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A decent looking body kick lands there for Lee. Lee lands with a slapping head kick. Lee throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Zu's head.
Zu is rocked! Lee looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Zu is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lee wants to clinch. Zu unleashes a big counter combination but Lee bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Zu seems to have recovered his senses.

Zu shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lee counters with a hugh head kick that removes Zu from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!
