Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kane Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Fitness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jack N Box. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kane Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Fitness! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Miller. Those never looked like landing. Kane Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fitness closes the distance and pushes Miller back into the ropes. Miller has hold of one of Fitness's legs. Fitness is fighting the takedown attempt but Miller gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Fitness keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Fitness really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Miller advances position into side control! Fitness is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Miller asserts his dominance and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller trying to control the position but Fitness is working away. Fitness looking for a sweep but Miller has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Fitness is trying desperately to improve position. Fitness is trying to stand up. Fitness tries to lock up and control but Miller gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Miller is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fitness can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Miller scoring with strikes but Fitness is staying in there. Fitness taking shots to the head. Miller with a couple of short strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Miller lands a big shot there that rocks Fitness but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Miller wants to control the pace but Fitness is squirming around nicely. Miller looking for a guillotine from mount but Fitness is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller lands with some strikes. Miller postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fitness looks a forlorn figure.
Fitness is squirming around, avoiding Miller's attempts to control the action. Miller is in the full mount, landing strikes. Miller trying to control but he's not successful this time. Miller has hold of Fitness's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fitness manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Miller lands a left and a right that send Fitness crashing to the mat, dazed. Miller thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fitness seems to have recovered his senses. Fitness can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Miller controls the pace. Fitness trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Fitness is breathing heavily. Fitness is working an open guard so Miller takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Miller is really dominating this fight. Fitness no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Fitness is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fitness is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Miller is controlling him. Miller drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Miller jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Miller stands and steps away. Fitness gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Miller scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The fight moves into the clinch position. Fitness decides to pull guard.

Miller seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fitness does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Miller lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Miller decides to return to a standing position.

Kane Miller is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fitness jabs at Miller's body. Miller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fitness wants to control but Miller is keeping busy and won't allow it. Miller controlling the action here. Fitness is trying to stand.
And that's the end of the fight! Kane Miller showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Miller, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chernicin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Gyan paws at him with a jab and circles away. As Chernicin backs off Gyan throws a huge counter combo but Chernicin manages to avoid it all. Chernicin wants to clinch up but Gyan keeps it at a distance. Gyan is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Gyan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chernicin's guard. Gyan controlling from the top position. Gyan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Chernicin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gyan is aware though and is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gyan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bailey lands a nice looking body kick. A shot to the body from bk misses and Bailey counters by clinching up. Bailey lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down bk. Bailey lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of bk backwards. Bailey digs a right hand underneath bk's ribcage. bk let out a lung full of air as it connected. bk is looking to take this one to the mat. Bailey stalling in the clinch.
Bailey lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. bk is trying to pull guard but Bailey has him pressed against the ropes. Bailey lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt bk or not. Bailey manages to break the clinch.
bk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bailey swats him away and circles back towards the center. Danga de danga de dang - Bailey scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Bk bk has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice jab there from Bailey. Bailey lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
bk is rocked! Bailey rushes bk and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. bk tumbles to the floor! Bailey threw a big shot that dropped him and now Bailey is on top looking to finish! bk has guard but can he survive?!
Oh bk is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bailey is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bailey passes into half guard. Bailey slows the pace down in half guard. bk seems to have got his legs back now. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. bk is trying to control but can't.
Bailey trying to pass the guard but bk defending well. Bailey keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Bailey moves nicely into side control. Bailey controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bailey tries for a kimura but bk is defending well. Bailey is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. bk is trying to escape and Bailey transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and bk is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bailey! Very nice indeed!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch lands to the side of Shepherd 's head but he takes it in his stride. Shepherd doesn't succeed with the takedown and Zegan counters with a good low kick that Shepherd was not able to check. Shepherd shoots in for a takedown but Zegan shows good takedown defense. Maciej Zegan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shepherd will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rufus Shepherd. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shepherd moves into the clinch. Shepherd has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Zegan after a bit of a struggle. Zegan stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Zegan works on Shepherd's body with a couple of short punches. Zegan lands a body punch in the clinch. Shepherd is breathing heavily. Zegan landing knees to the body.
Zegan lands on the inside with an uppercut. Zegan unloads a knee to the mid-section. Shepherd's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zegan scores with a shoulder strike. Zegan presses Shepherd against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Zegan lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Shepherd or not. A short right from Zegan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoover looks to land a combination but Erschov avoids it well. Erschov dives in for a single leg takedown but Hoover sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Erschov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hoover misses with a two punch combination.
Erschov wants to clinch. Erschov throws a sloppy head kick and Hoover moves out of range easily. Hoover scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Alexei Erschov has been cut. Hoover throws a shot to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Erschov looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hoover stalks Erschov and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Erschov's face. Erschov staggers backwards, shaken. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hoover lands a two punch combo.
Hoover misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Erschov.
Hoover will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hoover defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Erschov. Hoover connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Hoover throws a series of punches but Erschov moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Erschov fails with a takedown attempt. Dominic Hoover has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexei Erschov. Hoover lands a jab to Erschov's midsection. Erschov has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hoover finds it's way round the side to connect with Erschov's head. Hoover fails to land with a series of punches.
Erschov dives in for a single leg takedown but Hoover sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Erschov moves in looking to clinch but Hoover pushes him off. Hoover fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Erschov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Erschov looks winded! Erschov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Erschov fails with the takedown. Hoover is looking to counter punch. Erschov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hoover to score with a decent uppercut. Erschov takes one to the chin there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Erschov takes a body punch but keeps moving. Hoover connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoover lands with a right and another and another! Erschov is in big trouble! Hoover lands again and this time it's lights out for Erschov! A quality knockout there for Hoover.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dominic Hoover! After the fight, Dominic Hoover was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
