Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sid Vicious! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacoby Jones! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jones with a jab. Jones fails to land the takedown. Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones throws a right and a left that Vicious avoids nicely. Vicious needs to keep his hands up - Jones had a free shot at his head there. Vicious staying out of range there. Good shot there by Vicious. Vicious throws a quick inside leg kick. Jones misses with an uppercut. Vicious saw that one coming. Vicious throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jones on the side of the head. Jones misses the body punch and Vicious counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vicious stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Vicious postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jones has his foot on Vicious's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vicious works his way back into a safe position though. Vicious has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Vicious distracts Jones with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones keeping full guard, as Vicious tries to pass. Vicious wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Vicious is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jones. Jones is trying to control Vicious's posture but Vicious avoids it. Vicious scores with a couple of short elbows. Jones tries to bench press Vicious off him but Vicious keeps the position. Vicious looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Vicious grinds an elbow into Jones's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vicious advances nicely into full mount. Jones takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Jones is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Vicious controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vicious landing strikes from the mount and Jones is in trouble! Jones tries to lock up and control but Vicious gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jones is looking to get to half guard. Jones is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vicious landing strikes from the mount. Vicious lands a big shot to the head and Jones winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bait lands a glancing blow to the side of Karimi's head. Karimi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bait circles away. Karimi fails with the takedown. Bait avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bait feints with a jab and clips Karimi right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Karimi is sent crashing into the canvas and Bait leaps in for the kill! Karimi tries to get to his feet but Bait is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Karimi is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gator Bait! Jumping up and down and very excited, Gator Bait waved his t-shirt featuring Underworld Clothing /w 90% Laundry's logo in front of the cameras.

Yeung goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Yeung rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lannister moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Yeung throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lannister. Yeung looks to land a combination but Lannister avoids it well. Lannister misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Yeung counters with a right hand to the body. Yeung's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Yeung duly obliges. Yeung misses with a double jab.
A little feinted left hand from Lannister on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sloppy strikes from Yeung. Those never looked like landing. Yeung pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lannister back to the cage. Yeung follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Yeung gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Derrick Yeung has been cut. Yeung shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lannister eats them both and turns towards Yeung to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Lannister throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Lannister throws a jab but it's blocked by Yeung. Lannister works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Yeung will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lannister missing with a left hand there. Yeung goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Yeung works over Lannister's head and body with a nice combination. Yeung connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lannister's hands. Derrick Yeung is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Yeung throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lannister.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shota thows a left - swing and a miss! No luck with that takedown attempt from Crusher. Shota follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Crusher works Shota's body with a nice hook. Crusher shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Shota napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shota pushes Crusher away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Crusher gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Crusher misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
