Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Unai Arana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmund Dantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Arana might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to NoMeansNo - Beat on the Brat. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Unai Arana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Edmund Dantes! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arana swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Arana digs a good hook to Dantes's body.
A low kick from Arana is predictable there and Dantes counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Dantes tries to clinch but Arana is having none of it. Nice uppercut there from Arana. Arana misses with a leg kick. Dantes looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. The fighters circle momentarily. Arana darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Arana lands a leg kick that knocks Dantes off balance momentarily. Dantes throws a quick inside leg kick. Dantes slips a jab from Arana. Dantes takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
This has been an exciting period of action! Dantes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Aranas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Arana uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dantes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dantes connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Arana drops Dantes with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dantes looks back up at him and smiles so Arana waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Dantes is rocked! Arana throws an uppercut from hell that sends Dantes clean off his feet! He's out cold! Arana stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Unai Arana! Unai Arana spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inprogress lands with a straight right. Devil didn't see that one coming. Devil ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Devil ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Inprogress moves away. Inprogress is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Devil throws a head kick that misses. Devil looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Inprogress misses with a left hand and Devil counters with an inside leg kick. Devil looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Inprogress tries a quick counter leg kick but Devil is wise to it. Devil takes a shot right to the bread basket. That kick from Devil tenderised Inprogress's leg. Inprogress is trying to keep his angry face on. Devil slips a jab from Inprogress. Inprogress drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Nice straight punches there by Inprogress. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Inprogress. Inprogress pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A nice leg kick lands there from Inprogress. Inprogress misses with a left hand and Devil counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. We've been told by Devil's head coaches at London MMA Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Inprogress turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. A left and a right from Inprogress both land. Nice combination. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Inprogress.
Inprogress throws a body punch but Devil moves out of range. Testing Inprogress seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Inprogress scores with a hook. Devil uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Inprogress. Devil misses with a hook. Inprogress ducked under it nicely. Inprogress throws out a loose jab but Devil uses good head movement to avoid it. Inprogress attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Devil throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A good leg kick by Inprogress. Inprogress throws the kick towards the body but Devil avoids it. Inprogress wants to land a leg kick but Devil is out of range. A big right from Devil misses. Inprogress misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Devil.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Inprogress throws a hook but Devil avoids it easily. Inprogress throws a front kick that sends Devil stumbling back into the cage. Inprogress tries to land a front kick but Devil steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Devil connects with a leg kick. Inprogress looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Inprogress pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Inprogress will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A close round but Testing Inprogress will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Inprogress tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Devil paws at him with a jab and circles away. Devil throws a body shot but no joy. Devil just misses with a punch to the body.
Inprogress moves away from the strike by Devil. Devil has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Inprogress throws a head kick but Devil moves out of range.
Devil lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Inprogress throws a lazy right hand but Devil sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Devil feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Inprogress's calf. Inprogress thumps Devil with a low kick. Inprogress looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Devil is fending him off so far but Inprogress persists. Nope, Devil circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick from Inprogress lands but Devil takes it in his stride. Devil lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Devil moves out of range as Inprogress strikes. Devil was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Devil takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Inprogress comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Inprogress throws the left hand but Devil avoids the punch easily. Inprogress throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Devil throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Inprogress misses with a hook. Devil ducked under it nicely. Devil wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Devil slips a jab and a cross from Inprogress.

Beautiful body shot. Inprogress scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Inprogress is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Devil knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inprogress wants to control but Devil is keeping him busy. Inprogress tries to advance to mount but Devil denies him. Devil is trying to buck Inprogress off. Devil prevents Inprogress from moving into mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Inprogress has knee on belly momentarily but Devil bucks him off and regains half guard. Devil is staying active underneath Inprogress, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Inprogress wants to pass to mount but Devil is defending the position. Devil keeps control of the position for the meantime. Devil manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Inprogress keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Testing Inprogress showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Devil throws a wild body kick that Inprogress sees coming a mile off. Devil is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Inprogress's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Devil throws a body shot but no joy. Devil dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Inprogress. That did some damage! Devil scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Inprogress doesn't seem bothered though. Nice body punch from Devil. Devil misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

And that's the end of the fight! Taz Devil showed his dominance in that final round. Well Inprogress has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, jab by Chow - just one landing. Yun Fat Chow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jeong looks to score with a jab to the body but Chow is just out of range. Jeong throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Jeong scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Jeong tries to land a leg kick but Chow saw it coming and moves away.

Chow defending well as Jeong loads up on a big left hand. Chow seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Chow gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jeong to score an easy takedown into full guard. Chow looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Chow pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jeong back to the cage. Chow follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jeong moves away. Chow connects with the punch. Jeong throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chow is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. The fighters circle momentarily. Chow darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Jeong scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chow doesn't seem bothered though. Nice takedown defense from Chow. No joy for Jeong on that attempt. Chow tries to close the distance and clinch but Jeong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Chow lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Jeong. Jeong throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Jeong throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Jeong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Chow tries to score with a low kick but Jeong moves his leg out of the way. Jeong throws a nice outside leg kick. Chow clinches up with Jeong and pushes him back against the cage. Jeong has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Chow clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! What can Chow do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

That was a close round but I would say that Yun Fat Chow will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Chow has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Chow and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Jeong scores with a spinning back kick! Jeong swings for the body but Chow moves out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Jeong slips a straight right by Chow. Jeong doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Jeong lands with a nice body kick. Jeong takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Jab from Chow. Jeong has a takedown stuffed. Chow is looking to counter the offense by Jeong and move into the clinch. Jeong misses with an uppercut. Jeong pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Jeong looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Chow moves out of range as Jeong throws a body kick.
Jeong tried to score with a low kick but Chow checks it. Jeong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chow. That did some damage! Chow does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Charcoal lands a lovely overhand right. Charcoal tries for a takedown but Ra sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Charcoal shoots in and drives through. Ra sprawls well. A shot to the body from Charcoal misses and Charcoal takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A head kick by Charcoal misses and Ra counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Ra is thwarting Charcoal's attempts to control the position. Ra not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ra is just content to waste time from the top position. Charcoal takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Ra trying to control but Charcoal is working from the bottom. Ra working some strikes from top position. Charcoal pulls Ra in close to his closed guard and prevents Ra from doing any damage or advancing position. Ra throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Charcoal works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Charcoal. That's going to take a lot out of him. Charcoal takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Charcoal keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ra. Ra throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Charcoal bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Ra misses with a straight left. Charcoal throws a right and a left that Ra avoids nicely. Ra avoids a punch combination nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Charcoal throws a combination that misses and Ra counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Ra fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Charcoal lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Charcoal will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Charcoal keeping moving, preventing Ra from controlling successfully. Ra preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Charcoal utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ra tries to free his leg and advance position but Charcoal is retaining full guard. Charcoal is trying to control the position but Ra postures up. Charcoal is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ra holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Charcoal tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ra knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ra is looking for a sweep. Charcoal is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Charcoal wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ra keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Amun Ra dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Charcoal clobbers Ra with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Charcoal misses with an uppercut. Ra saw that one coming. Ra appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Mr Charcoal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ra fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Ra pushes down on Charcoal's head and hops out. Amun Ra seems to be getting the better of the standup. Charcoal scores with a one two! and Charcoal counters with a three punch combo that has Ra backing up. Ra nods at Charcoal to acknowledge the strikes.
Ra is rocked! Charcoal steps in with a hook that catches Ra right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Charcoal follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Ra looks absolutely devastated.
