And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jendri Pitoy. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pitoy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Dama was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Dama throws a body punch but Li moves out of range. Li wants to counter with a clinch but Dama pushes him away. Li has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Li uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dama. Dama ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Li moves away.

Li escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dama gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. He's got his arms around Barnes's waist but Barnes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gump off to one side. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Samba throws a body punch but Beck moves out of range. Beck steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Samba. Samba blocks a low kick nicely. Beck throws a leg kick that misses. Samba replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Beck blocks it well. Beck chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Some bone on bone action there as Samba checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Samba fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Beck on the side of the head.
