The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Rock has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Goodman is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Goodman doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Rock counter with a right hand.
Rock bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Goodman tries for a takedown but Rock sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rock looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Goodman fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Goodman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Goodman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rock counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rock paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Rock stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rock wants it to stay on the feet.
Goodman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rock.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Goodman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rock circles away.
Goodman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Goodman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rock as he jumps to the side.

Rock keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Goodman misses with a looping left.
Rock scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Goodman is breathing heavily.

Rock sends Goodman crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rock is motioning to the referee to let Goodman up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Goodman is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rock sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Goodman's defenses. It connects perfectly with Goodman's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury shoots in looking for a takedown. Day tries to sprawl out of it but Fury keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Day manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jab from Day.
Day looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Day defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fury.
Day waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fury.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fury.
Lucky Day has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Fury.

Fury gets a double leg takedown into Day's guard.
Day looking for a sweep. Not yet Day, not yet.

Day working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fury doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fury manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fury keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Day's head.

Fury controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Day pushes a forearm under Fury's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Fury is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
