The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A chopping leg kick lands by Kumijalka. Kumijalka takes a body punch but keeps moving. An inside leg kick lands from Kumijalka. Good standup being displayed there by Carter as he connects with a hook. Kumijalka throws a body kick that misses. Kumijalka shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The fight stays on the outside here - Carter looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kumijalka tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Carter creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Kumijalka! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Carter.

Hagert tests Gracie's chin there with a solid looking shot. Gracie wants to clinch. Hagert will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gracie throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Gracie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gracie cracks the inside of Hagert's front leg. This has been an exciting period of action! Hagert throws a lazy right hand but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gracie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hagert will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gracie looks to land a left hand but Hagert moved out of range nicely. Hagert displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gracie throws out the jab. A combination from Gracie does no damage. Gracie scores with a push kick. Hagert is breathing heavily.
