These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Higkiko feints a jab promting Jolevi to slip. Higkiko then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jolevi slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Jolevi throws a nice looking combination but Higkiko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
It looked like Higkiko wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A nice leg kick lands there from Higkiko.
Higkiko goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Jolevi checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jolevi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Higkiko - the referee stops the clock and Jolevi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Higkiko. Jolevi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Jolevi is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Jolevi working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jolevi has hold of Higkiko's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Higkiko seems comfortable defending it but Jolevi has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Higkiko is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Higkiko is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jolevi couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Zoran Jolevi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Smith stuffs the takedown attempt from Enkeltmann. Enkeltmann gets slowly back to his feet.

Enkeltmann feints and as Smith raises his hands in defense, Enkeltmann changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Smith is looking for a triangle but Enkeltmann pushes his legs off easily.
Enkeltmann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Enkeltmann has an Americana. Smith didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Enkeltmann is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Enkeltmann hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

We've been hearing reports that Shango has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
