Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zeca Ralho!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ralho looks to land a combination but James avoids it well.
Ralho throws a right and a left that both miss.
James has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Ralho connects with a crisp jab.
James fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ralho misses with a takedown attempt - James sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
James is looking to counter the offense by Ralho and move into the clinch.
Ralho throws a series of punches but James moves out of range.
James appears to be looking for a big counter.
James shoots in for a takedown but Ralho shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
James moves in looking to clinch but Ralho pushes him off.

Ralho is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

James wants to take the fight to the mat but Ralho manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

James might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ralho wants to stand and escape but instead James has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Ralho is pushing James's head away, looking to escape. James manages to hold on to the position though.
