The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivera shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Diaz is trying to defend but Rivera finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Rivera missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz tries to get to full guard but Rivera has control of the leg. Diaz actively working from the bottom here. Rivera drops an elbow to the side of Diaz's head. The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Joey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Berisha tries to avoid it but Joey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Berisha to the ground. Berisha escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Berisha steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Joey. Valdet Berisha is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Horrible takedown attempt by Berisha or perhaps it was just good defense by Joey, which made it look bad.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Joey shoots in for a takedown but Berisha shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Berisha looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Berisha looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Berisha wants to control from the top but Joey keeps moving. Berisha avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Berisha content to stall in guard here. Fat Joey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Valdet Berisha is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Joey looking for a guillotine here but Berisha defends easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Little moves out of range of the strikes. Hghar throws a body shot but no joy. Hghar stuffs the takedown. Little swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Little drops Hghar with a beautiful combination! Hghar stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Little is looking for the KO!
It looks like Jaqen Hghar has been cut. Good exchange - Little coming out on top.
Hghar is rocked! Hghar closes the distance and clinches up with Little, looking for a takedown. Hghar pushes Little against the cage but Little circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Oh Hghar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Little misses with the combination.
Little throws a head kick that misses. Jaqen Hghar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Little with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Little throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Little fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Hghar to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Hghar looks to clinch but Little throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Hghar taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Frost misses. Frost throws a sloppy head kick and Taylor moves out of range easily. Frost scores with a jab. Taylor acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Jason Taylor has been cut. We've been told by Frost's head coaches at V Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Frost connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Taylor's hands. Frost feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Taylor sprawling to the canvas! Taylor rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Frost finish him?!
Taylor is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Taylor moves away from the strike by Frost. Taylor is still on wobbly legs! Can Frost finish him? Frost misses with a looping left. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Frost tries to bum rush Taylor with a series of wild strikes but Taylor uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Taylor seems to have recovered his senses. A momentary lapse in concentration from Frost enables Taylor to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Frost manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Frost avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Taylor not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Taylor trying to control but Frost is working from the bottom. Taylor looking to pass the guard. Frost managing to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Taylor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Taylor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frost swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Frost tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Taylor was well out of range. Poor timing from Frost. Frost is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Frost scores with a kick to the midsection. Frost lands with a nice body kick. Taylor looks winded! Sloppy strikes from Frost. Those never looked like landing. Taylor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Frost counters with a crisp right hand that drops Taylor! Frost lets Taylor back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Taylor tries for a takedown but Frost sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Frost went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Frost closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Taylor! Frost dives in looking to finish! Taylor is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

King thumps Smudge with a low kick. King misses with the combination.
Smudge moves away from the strike by King. Smudge dives in for a single leg takedown but King sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. King misses with a wild body shot. Smudge changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. King lands a right hook to the body.
King throws a leg kick which misses Smudge's front leg but catches the back leg as Smudge tries to avoid it. King misses with a double jab.
King rushes Smudge and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. King breaks from the clinch.
Smudge moves out of range as King strikes. King missing with a left hand there. Smudge was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Smudge drives through with a takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smudge trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smudge throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smudge stops King from standing up. Smudge is pushing down on King's leg trying to pass to half guard. King is fighting to maintain full guard but Smudge has managed to sneak the leg through. King blocking the ground and pound attempt from Smudge. Smudge is trying to control the action in half guard but King is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. King is looking for a sweep. Smudge is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Smudge trying to control from half guard but King is working away. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Smudge lands a nice short elbow. Smudge not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smudge tries to pass the half guard into mount. King knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Smudge will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. King on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Still in half guard, Smudge seems content to control. Smudge works his foot free and advances to mount. King is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. BOOM! Smudge connects with a massive shot to the dome!
King is trying to stand up. Smudge lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
King felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Smudge lands with some vicious ground and pound - can King hang on?

Kuhula lunges at Sandov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sandov's hand. Kuhula gets in close and tags Sandov with a short punch that almost sends Sandov to the mat! Oh Sandov is in big trouble! He turns his back on Kuhula, trying to create some distance but Kuhula rushes him, striking wildly and Sandov goes down! The referee tackles Kuhula into the cage to end the fight! Kuhula is one violent man!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruggiero shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chan pinned against the cage. Chan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Chan throws a sloppy head kick and Ruggiero moves out of range easily. Ruggiero throws a big counter combination but Chan scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Ruggiero looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And Chan tries to counter it with a takedown but Ruggiero pushes his down on his head and steps out. Chan connects with a body shot that sends Ruggiero's belly button to the back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ruggiero fails with an attempt to clinch.

Chan stalling away here and it's allowed Ruggiero to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Chan tries to stand but Ruggiero is controlling from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruggiero tries to land a sweep but no joy. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Chan working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Chan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ruggiero is keeping the position for now. Ruggiero is trying to keep Chan in close.
Chan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jackie Chan has got the better of the ground game so far. Ruggiero is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ruggiero is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chan is controlling him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ruggiero tries to clinch up. Chan drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ruggiero defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Chan lands with a good body shot. Ruggiero slaps away a takedown attempt from Chan, before circling back to the center of the mat. Excellent takedown into side control there by Chan. Ruggiero is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Chan just content to control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chan is looking to take a break and control but Ruggiero is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ruggiero struggling a bit here.
