11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vic Vantrell! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schwarzeneg with a lazy takedown attempt and Vantrell counters by clinching up. Vantrell tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Schwarzeneg's elbow. Vantrell scores with a shoulder strike. Schwarzeneg has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vantrell avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Vantrell is trying to push Schwarzeneg away but Schwarzeneg has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Schwarzeneg has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Vantrell regains guard immediately. Vantrell working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Schwarzeneg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Schwarzeneg manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Vantrell is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. We've been hearing good reports from Schwarzeneg's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Schwarzeneg loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Schwarzeneg wants to pass the guard but Vantrell is keeping the position. Vantrell looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Vantrell looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Schwarzeneg puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. It looks like Schwarzeneg is going to stand back up.

Schwarzeneg throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Schwarzeneg prevents Vantrell from improving his position. Vantrell is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Nice strikes from Schwarzeneg there. Schwarzeneg keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Schwarzeneg wants to stand up but Vantrell has a hold of him and won't allow it. Vantrell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Schwarzeneg is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Schwarzeneg misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Veli Schwarzeneg. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schwarzeneg shoots in for a takedown but Vantrell shows good takedown defense. Schwarzeneg doesn't manage to clinch there - Vantrell circles away.

Vantrell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Schwarzeneg manages to get himself to full guard.

Schwarzeneg keeping moving, preventing Vantrell from controlling successfully. Vantrell working some strikes from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vantrell landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Vantrell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Schwarzeneg keeps working. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Schwarzeneg is looking to improve his position.

Vic Vantrell has got the better of the ground game so far. Vantrell is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Vantrell advances position into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schwarzeneg being controlled for a moment. Check out the look on Vantrell's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kordic drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Hartmann thows a left - swing and a miss! Hartmann just misses with a punch to the body.
Kordic was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Kordic definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Hartmann tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kordic was well out of range. Poor timing from Hartmann. Kordic throws a body shot but no joy. Hartmann ducks under a wild hook from Kordic. Hartmann lands a nice looking body shot.

Hartmann is rocked! Kordic controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hartmann is still in real trouble! Can Kordic finish him? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kordic continues to stall. Hartmann seems to have recovered his senses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hartmann has a hand on Kordic's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Kordic takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Kordic tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Kordic dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hartmann rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hartmann is countered with a crisp right hand from Kordic that sends him to the canvas! Kordic follows him to the mat into side control. Kordic is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Kordic has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Hartmann is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee asks Kordic politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kordic prefers to stall for the moment though. Kordic's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kordic jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hartmann misses with a left hand and Kordic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hartmann throws a hook to the side of Kordic's head but Kordic sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kordic lands a right hook to the body.
Kordic closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Hartmann! Kordic dives in looking to finish! Hartmann is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Kordic! A very excited looking John Kordic made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trager is trying hard to land a takedown here. Freeman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Trager doesn't succeed with the takedown and Freeman counters with a shoot takedown. Trager fights it but they end up in guard. Trager is pulling down on Freeman's head. It's preventing any offense from Freeman, at least for the moment. Freeman distracts Trager with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Trager has his foot on Freeman's thigh. Freeman is nestled in close to Trager, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Trager with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Freeman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Mercurious throws a big counter head kick but Cameron avoids it with no problem. Mercurious defending well as Cameron loads up on a big left hand. so Cameron counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Cameron is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Cameron slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Cameron trying to control the position from guard on top but Mercurious is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Not much technique there but it did the business. Marx tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kvasov defends well and Marx ends up having to push Kvasov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Marx moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Kvasov tries to land a front kick but Marx steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Nice defenses there by Kvasov. Sandoval gets through Jatlier's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Jatlier stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Jatlier is trying to maintain a safe position but Sandoval gets an underhook and turns Jatlier into the cage. Jatlier gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sandoval.

Lewis is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Tunamoto had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Tunamoto needs to keep his hands up - Lewis had a free shot at his head there.

Tunamoto creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Lewis with a big uppercut! Lewis tries to clinch up but Tunamoto pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Lewis to the mat! Lewis covers up and Tunamoto unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
