The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Valentine. Dummy looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Valentine works the jab nicely. Dummy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Valentine connects with a leg kick. Dummy looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Valentine scores with a leg kick.

Valentine scores with a nice right hand.

Dummy takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silvardo shoots and misses and Overeem counters with a nice body shot. Overeem takes the fight into the clinch. Silvardo is trying to pull guard but Overeem turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Silvardo tries to pull guard but Overeem holds him up against the cage and eventually Silvardo drops back down to his feet.
Milan Overeem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ranaroldo Silvardo. Overeem breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Overeem drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silvardo is not content to let Overeem control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silvardo manages to work his way to half guard, despite Overeem's best efforts. Silvardo tries to roll over but Overeem keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silvardo looking for submissions off his back. Overeem is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silvardo defends it well. Overeem trying to control from half guard but Silvardo is working away. Silvardo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silvardo trying to control the position.
We've been hearing that Overeem has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Silvardo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Overeem is one step ahead there. Silvardo trying to keep a closed guard but Overeem is proving a slippery customer.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Silvardo holds on and takes a little breather. Silvardo tries to land a sweep but no joy. Overeem throwing strikes but missing. Silvardo keeping moving, preventing Overeem from controlling successfully.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Overeem throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Silvardo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Overeem is in Silvardo's guard. Overeem is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Overeem tries to stand but Silvardo is controlling from the bottom. Silvardo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Overeem doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Overeem manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Silvardo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Overeem defends it easily. Silvardo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Silvardo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Overeem knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silvardo on the ground. Overeem works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silvardo is doing well to control the position and prevent Overeem from advancing to side control. Silvardo is pressing down on Overeem's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Silvardo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Overeem gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Silvardo trying to control the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silvardo looking for a triangle here. Overeem is fighting it but it looks tight! Silvardo pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Overeem is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ranaroldo Silvardo took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'You know he a very tough guy you know but he no get the positch and usa too much of da straintch!'. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hales has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Giraffe lands with a light punch inside. Giraffe lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Hales. Hales has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Giraffe avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Giraffe is pressed up against the cage. Hales has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Giraffe down to the mat. Giraffe avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Big Giraffe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berkantov slips a jab from Jones. Jones scores with a jab to the jaw. Jones scores with a nice right hand.
Jones stuffs the takedown. Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Berkantov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jones defends well and Berkantov ends up having to push Jones into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Berkantov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Jones has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Berkantov manages to avoid it. Jones cracks Berkantov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jones has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Berkantov to stand back up!
Berkantov is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones lands with a right and another and another! Berkantov is in big trouble! Jones lands again and this time it's lights out for Berkantov! A quality knockout there for Jones.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ralf Jones! An out of breath and clearly excited Ralf Jones thanked Underworld Clothing for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him). Zin Berkantov was interviewed post fight and said 'Pfff... I shoudn't have underestimated my opponent...'.

Vantuiese steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Saunders. Saunders gets a double leg takedown into Vantuiese's guard. Vantuiese looking to hit a scissor sweep but Saunders is one step ahead there. Vantuiese looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Saunders throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vantuiese works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Saunders tries to free his leg and advance position but Vantuiese is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beltran stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Coker. Coker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Beltran keeping full guard, as Coker tries to pass.
