Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Owen Farrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pyry Perkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perkele has chosen Perkele as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Owen Farrell had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaFontier throws a right hand that Curry ducks under and follows up with a left that Curry also avoids with ease.
Curry ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
LaFontier throws a hook but Curry blocks it.
Curry takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Curry thows a left - swing and a miss!
LaFontier ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Arthur Curry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
LaFontier tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Curry swivels and escapes.
A looping hook to the body misses from LaFontier. Curry does a little dance to reset his feet.
LaFontier smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
LaFontier takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
LaFontier will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
LaFontier drops his hands momentarily and Curry takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Curry uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by LaFontier.
