The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerich lands a two punch combo.
Gerich has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ojdanic is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Gerich throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Ojdanic throws a lazy right hand but Gerich sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ojdanic is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gerich sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Ojdanic goes for a double leg but Gerich avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gerich continues to drive forward.

Ojdanic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gerich moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Varshik Gerich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Look low, kick high! Gerich uses the oldest trick in the book to send Ojdanic tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Gerich is absolutely delighted - when Ojdanic wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Madison on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Madison stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Polo.

Madison drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Polo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
