4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Iain Donovan! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lannister takes the fight into the clinch. Lannister unloads a knee to the mid-section. Lannister gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Donovan.
Donovan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lannister fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Donovan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lannister tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Donovan is in Lannister's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lannister looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Donovan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lannister is keeping the position for now. Donovan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lannister's head.

Lannister trying to control the position from guard on top but Donovan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Donovan lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Lannister keeping full guard, as Donovan tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donovan is still trying to improve position. Lannister being controlled here, momentarily. Donovan wants to pass the guard but Lannister is keeping the position. Donovan trying to control but Lannister is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Donovan is looking for a kimura but Lannister is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Donovan to get the leverage. Donovan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lannister is staying active underneath Donovan, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Donovan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Donovan looks for a takedown but Lannister sprawls well. Jaime Lannister has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iain Donovan. Donovan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Donovan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lannister, who protects the arm well. Lannister can't do much from the bottom here. Donovan throwing shots but missing, from side control. Donovan moves into full mount! Donovan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lannister can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Donovan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Lannister knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Donovan on the ground. Donovan has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Lannister is in real trouble here. Donovan gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Lannister is tapping out! Donovan wins by rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skayias tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cousteau was well out of range. Poor timing from Skayias. Skayias loads up on a big right hand but Cousteau slips the punch. Skayias throws a leg kick and Cousteau connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Skayias avoids the body shot from Cousteau.
Cousteau tries to score a power double leg takedown but Skayias sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cousteau somewhat. Skayias misses the shot to the body. Skayias throws a body shot but no joy. Skayias punishes Cousteau's body with a nice straight punch. Cousteau slips a jab from Skayias. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cousteau keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bait jabs Crusher right on the nose. Crusher blinks but takes it well. Bait throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bait tries a head kick but it misses.

Danga de danga de dang - Bait scores with a four punch combination! Bait throws a right and a left that Crusher avoids nicely. Bait throws a head kick but Crusher moves out of range.

Crusher landing some decent shots from guard. Crusher trying to control but Bait is working from the bottom. Crusher pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bait is keeping the position for now. Crusher wants to control from the top but Bait keeps moving.

Bait manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Crusher jumps guard but Bait stands there with Crusher around his waist. Crusher gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Good shot there by Bait. Bait cracks Crusher with a right hand to the side of the head. Crusher looks to land a right hand but Bait moved out of range. Bait swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bait will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Crusher shoots in looking for a takedown but Bait manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Crusher's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Gator Bait has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Crusher. Bait missing with a left hand there. Crusher was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A big left from Crusher misses. It looked like Bait was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Rose drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Shota defends it well. Shota misses with an uppercut. Rose fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shota manages to avoid it. Rose throws a shot from downtown. Shota moves away and avoids it. Nice cross by Rose. Rose throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shota. Shota misses the jab. Shota has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Shota there as he acknowledges the shot. Rose has his takedown stuffed and Shota counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Shota. Shota working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Shota lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Rose or not. Shota crunches a lovely knee into Rose's ribcage. Rose dodges an elbow strike from Shota.

Shota is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Rose looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Rose is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Shota pulls him back up using the underhooks. Adrian Shota has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Rose misses with a takedown attempt - Shota sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Rose uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Shota has time to react. A combination from Rose does no damage. Rose scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Shota ducks under a wild hook from Rose. Nice shot lands for Shota. Shota throws a hook to the side of Rose's head but Rose sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. And Rose tries to counter it with a takedown but Shota pushes his down on his head and steps out. Shota misses with a combination
and Rose cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Shota tries to close the distance and clinch but Rose swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rose ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shota moves away. Rose circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rose jabs Shota right on the nose. Shota blinks but takes it well. Shota misses with a wild body shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shota misses with a body shot.
Rose shoots in looking for a takedown but Shota manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rose's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Shota displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rose throws out the jab. Rose shoots for a takedown but Shota saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rose blocks a jab. A momentary lapse in concentration from Shota enables Rose to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shota manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Shota has his feet on Rose's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Shota lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shota. Rose swings for the body but Shota moves out of range.

Shota doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Shota throws a series of punches but Rose avoids them all with ease. Derick Rose seems to be getting the better of the standup. Donk. Shota catches Rose right on the button with a cross. Rose thuds his right hand into Shota's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Shota misses with a straight right. Rose lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shota at a distance.

and Shota counters with a left right combination that sends Rose crashing to the mat - Shota wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Rose out for a TKO! Devastating finish!

We've been hearing reports that Hardwood has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Hardwood looks to land a left hand but Johnson moved out of range nicely. Hardwood blocks a jab. Hardwood is trying hard to land a takedown here. Johnson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Johnson throws a hook to the side of Hardwood's head but Hardwood sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hardwood walks into a straight right hand from Johnson. The fighters circle momentarily. Johnson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson rushes Hardwood with punches - Hardwood moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Hardwood goes down! Johnson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
