Da Vinci has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Da Vinci is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Simon is hurt! He's hurt bad - Da Vinci fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Simon from any more punishment! Congratulations to Da Vinci! Great finish!

Arthur shoots in for a double leg but Smith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Smith throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Arthur's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Smith dives in looking to finish as Arthur flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Smith's strikes! Smith is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Arthur's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Arthur was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Adams on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

He tries to recover but Garbutt pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Adams is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
