The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fitzgerald tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Fitzgerald takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fitzgerald has his takedown stuffed and DeLeo counters with a lovely shot to the body. DeLeo swinging wildly here.
Fitzgerald is trying hard to land a takedown here. DeLeo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. DeLeo cracks Fitzgerald with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. DeLeo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Fitzgerald to stand back up!
Fitzgerald is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. DeLeo knocks out Fitzgerald with a massive right hand! The ref tackles DeLeo before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. DeLeo picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Smithing throws a sloppy head kick and Mugabe moves out of range easily. Mugabe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smithing avoids it really well and circles away. John Smithing is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Smithing misses with an uppercut
and Mugabe counters with a shoot takedown. Smithing fights it but they end up in guard. Smithing looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Smithing is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Guerrero looking to sit in guard and control but Snipes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Snipes won't allow Guerrero to sweep him here. Guerrero is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Guerrero is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Snipes is just riding it out for now. Guerrero eventually gives up the hold. Snipes has Guerrero pressed against the cage, preventing Guerrero from circling away and getting back to striking at range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Snipes is refusing to be controlled, as Guerrero sits in half guard. Guerrero tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Snipes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snipes lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage. Snipes wants to control but Guerrero is keeping busy.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. William Guerrero has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Murray Snipes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Snipes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Murray Snipes showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Snipes, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
