Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Brent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cechini Muszyna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brent's entrance music is David Brent - 'Life on the Road'. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Cechini Muszyna!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brent shoots for a takedown but Muszyna saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Muszyna takes a swing at Brent's ribcage but misses.
Brent takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Brent shoots in but Muszyna avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Muszyna is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Brent with a body shot.
A jab from Muszyna misses.
Brent uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Muszyna has time to react.
Horrible takedown attempt by Brent or perhaps it was just good defense by Muszyna, which made it look bad.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brent cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Muszyna does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Muszyna keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Brent pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Muszyna back to the cage. Brent follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Brent's corner calls for a 1-2. Brent obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Muszyna lands a slapping body shot.
Muszyna misses with a looping left.
Brent appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Brent jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Muszyna counters with a stiff right hand.

Brent switches off momentarily and Muszyna cracks him with a monster right hand! Brent topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Muszyna dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Muszyna!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cechini Muszyna!
Cechini Muszyna decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drezner throws a right and a left that Rambo avoids nicely.
Rambo tries to bum rush Drezner with a series of wild strikes but Drezner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Drezner lands a head shot.
Zak Drezner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drezner throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Rambo's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Drezner dives in looking to finish as Rambo flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Drezner's strikes! Drezner is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Rambo's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Rambo was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
