Hoisen jerks Valiov's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Valiov drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Hoisen goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Hoisen because Valiov was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Cruz feints and as Laak raises his hands in defense, Cruz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Cruz drops back looking for a leg! Laak is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Laak manages to kick Cruz off! Cruz jumps back into Laak's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh but Laak is tightening it up a little... Cruz has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Cruz reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Cruz taps out! Nice BJJ there by Laak!

Silva has Smith pressed against the cage. He pushes Smith back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Silva throws a beautiful elbow that sends Smith crashing to the floor! Silva piles on the pressure with more strikes! Smith is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
