Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angle Iron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon comes into the arena with All Summer Long blaring out of the sound system. Iron comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I Have a Dream kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iron ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brandon moves away.
Brandon throws a combination. Iron tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Angle Iron has been cut.
Brandon ducks right into an uppercut from Iron.
Nice defenses there by Brandon.
Iron shoots for a takedown but Brandon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Iron shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Angle Iron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Iron scores with a jab. Brandon acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Iron tries to sprawl but Brandon drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Iron shoots in looking for a takedown but Brandon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Iron's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Brandon swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Iron manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Brandon on his heels. He'll look to pass Brandon's guard now, I'm sure.

Brandon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brandon wants it to stay on the feet.

I would just about give that final round to Angle Iron.
Well Iron has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
