The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boc throws a body punch but tres cantos moves out of range. Boc throws a half hearted mid kick. tres cantos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. tres cantos tries for a takedown but Boc sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Boc misses with a head kick.
tres cantos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boc circles away. Ong Boc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of junior tres cantos. tres cantos moves into the clinch successfully.

Boc stuffs the takedown attempt from tres cantos. tres cantos gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. tres cantos tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. tres cantos lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by tres cantos. tres cantos tries to clinch up but Boc circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Boc. Boc fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt tres cantos. tres cantos shoots for a double leg takedown but Boc sprawls well. He's pushed tres cantos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. tres cantos is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Boc.
It looks like junior tres cantos has been cut. Boc tries a head kick but it misses.
Boc turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Boc ducks down and throws a hook to the body but tres cantos moves away. Boc is looking to take this fight into the clinch. tres cantos dodges the punch combination from Boc.
Boc lands a big head kick that sends tres cantos to the canvas! Boc follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aldo thows a body shot but no joy. Bach closes the distance and clinches up with Aldo, looking for a takedown. Bach pushes Aldo against the cage but Aldo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Aldo lands with a cross. Aldo leaves Bach with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bach looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Bach tries to move into range but Aldo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Aldo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Aldo throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bach is looking to clinch. A punch lands to the side of Bach 's head but he takes it in his stride. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bach walks into a left hand. Aldo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bach is rocked! Bach tries to clinch but Aldo is having none of it. Bach checks a leg kick. Bach shoots in for a takedown but Aldo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jose Aldo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Bach.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bach is defended easily by Aldo. Aldo throws a series of strikes that have Bach backpedaling.
Bach is still on wobbly legs! Can Aldo finish him? Bach gets a takedown into half guard. Bach seems to have recovered his senses. Aldo controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aldo misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Bach wants to control but Aldo is keeping him busy. Aldo keeping hold of Bach's head, controlling as best he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aldo is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bach is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Aldo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bach. Aldo is concentrating on defense, preventing Bach from advancing position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aldo wants to get back to full guard. Aldo flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Aldo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bach. Bach closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Bach shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aldo but Aldo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bach shoots for a double leg takedown but Aldo sprawls well. He's pushed Bach's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bach looks gassed! Aldo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bach looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Bach shoots for a takedown but Aldo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bach takes a shot right to the bread basket.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aldo thumps Bach with a low kick. Aldo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Aldo scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Aldo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Aldo ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Jose Aldo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Aldo dips to his left and cracks Bach with an uppercut! Aldo scores with a shot to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Aldo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Aldo clobbers Bach with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Aldo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bach. Bach shoots in looking for a takedown. Aldo tries to sprawl out of it but Bach keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Aldo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Aldo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Aldo lands a nice shot to the body.

Bach takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Bach sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Aldo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Aldo with a nice cross. Aldo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bach can do to turn this around? Bach fails with a takedown attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bach is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Aldo. Aldo throws a leg kick but Bach sees it coming and moves out of range. Bach misses the body punch and Aldo counters with a good low kick that Bach was not able to check. Aldo throws a series of punches but Bach avoids them all with ease. Aldo dips to his left and cracks Bach with an uppercut! Aldo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Aldo tests Bach's chin there with a solid looking shot. Aldo stuffs the takedown attempt from Bach. Bach gets slowly back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bach feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Aldo has his hands on Bach's head, controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aldo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Bach is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Aldo is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Bach gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Aldo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that's the end of the fight! Jose Aldo showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Aldo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Friedenson throws a sloppy head kick and Lau moves out of range easily. Lau lands a body shot.
Lau connects with a jab. Lau lands a nice shot that snaps Friedenson's head back.

Lau fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Friedenson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Friedenson is breathing heavily. Friedenson tries to close the distance and clinch but Lau swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Friedenson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Friedenson circles away from the clinch attempt and Friedenson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lau! Lau sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Friedenson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lau regains full guard. Nicely done. Lau has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Friedenson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lau has tightened it up now! Friedenson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! veenstra shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. koch manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. koch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. veenstra chips away with some ground and pound. veenstra is looking to work some ground and pound but koch has wrist control. veenstra working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. veenstra decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on koch, up you get! veenstra shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than veenstra was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! veenstra takes koch's back. koch avoids the strikes from veenstra. koch is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if veenstra gets his way!
koch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. veenstra working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but koch is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and veenstra has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! koch taps out!

You get the feeling that Tims really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Dunn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dunn with shots to the head and body - Tims looks very uncomfortable down there. Dunn scores with a couple of good head shots there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Reyes which made him look bad. Lee closes the distance and clinches up with Reyes, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes Reyes against the cage but Reyes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lee. Nick Reyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fast Lee. Reyes misses with a takedown and Lee makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Reyes shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Reyes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reyes tries for a takedown but Lee circles away easily and Lee counters with a straight right hand. Reyes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lee avoids it really well and circles away.

Lee tries to bum rush Reyes with a series of wild strikes but Reyes uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Reyes fails with the takedown and Lee counters with a leg kick. Reyes is breathing heavily. No joy there for Lee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Reyes takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Lee scores with a jab to the jaw. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee tries to clinch there but Reyes circles away.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Reyes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Reyes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reyes but Reyes pushes him off and we're back to square one. Reyes tries for a takedown but Lee circles away easily and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lee ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Reyes. Reyes utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Reyes looking for a guillotine here but Lee defends easily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Reyes with a lazy takedown attempt and Reyes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Reyes has his takedown stuffed and Lee counters with a stiff right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lee comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Fast Lee seems to be getting the better of the standup. Reyes takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Lee lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Reyes backs up against the cage.
