The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Lapis.
Griffiths wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

We've been informed that Griffiths has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

That was a close round but I would say that Andrey Lapis will probably get the nod.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lapis is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Griffiths has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lapis is looking to defend but Griffiths has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lapis! Griffiths pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lapis taps out and this one is all over!
