I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shea Ohmsford was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doulos stuffs the takedown attempt from Ohmsford. Ohmsford gets slowly back to his feet.

Doulos lands a big uppercut and Ohmsford crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ohmsford looks OK. Doulos waves Ohmsford back to his feet!

Ohmsford is rocked!

It looks like Shea Ohmsford has been cut.
Doulos weaves into range and cracks Ohmsford right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Ohmsford goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Doulos is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Boagrius comes to the cage accompanied by Akkadian Empire . Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Brown comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sweater Weather kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brown throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sigorsson's head.
Brown thows a leg kick but Sigorsson checks it

and Sigorsson counters with a single leg into guard. Brown didn't expect that.

Sigorsson drops back looking for a leg! Brown is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brown manages to kick Sigorsson off! Sigorsson jumps back into Brown's guard.
Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sigorsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sigorsson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Sigorsson passes Brown's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sigorsson is working to tighten his grip on Brown's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Brown has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sigorsson is really squeezing tight and eventually Brown passes out! Sigorsson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The key to victory for Scottie Damron has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Nowak blocks a head kick by Damron .
Nowak chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Damron can pounce on him.
Damron connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nowak. Nowak circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Good leg kick by Damron there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Damron definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Damron lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nowak takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Damron thuds a left hand into Nowak's body.
Scottie Damron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nowak closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Nowak has hold of Damron 's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Damron tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Nowak cranks the arm and Damron screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Damron , who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobarre tests One's chin there with a solid looking shot.
One avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Escobarre swings widly with a right hand
and One counters with a right hand to the body.
One slips a straight right by Escobarre.
Escobarre tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but One swivels and escapes.
Escobarre has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as One is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Escobarre throws a hook to the side of One's head but One sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Escobarre lands a straight punch to the body, keeping One at a distance.
Escobarre takes a swing at One's ribcage but misses.

Escobarre closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into One's guard.
One has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Escobarre has passed into side control.

Escobarre in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... One is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
