The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Ponens. No joy for OvGod on that attempt. Ponens drops down looking to force a counter takedown but OvGod defends it well. OvGod throws a right and a left that Ponens avoids nicely. Ponens misses with a straight left. Ponens tries to clinch there but OvGod circles away.
OvGod fails with a takedown attempt. Ponens leaves OvGod with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ponens looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Laam OvGod. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. OvGod tries to work over Ponens's front leg with a kick but Ponens checks it. That was a close round but I would say that Laam OvGod will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. OvGod is looking to control Ponens's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can OvGod avoid being mounted? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marciano shoots for a takedown but Swanson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Marciano fails with a takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Marciano. Dandy Swanson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jax Marciano. Swanson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Swanson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Swanson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Swanson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Jax Marciano has been cut. Swanson throws a combination that misses and Marciano counters with an inside leg kick. Swanson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Swanson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Swanson tries to bum rush Marciano with a series of wild strikes but Marciano uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Marciano looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Swanson is fending him off so far but Marciano persists. Nope, Swanson circles away and we're back to standing. Swanson thinks about countering with a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Swanson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Marciano has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Marciano and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Swanson misses with a wild body shot. Marciano now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Swanson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Marciano goes for a double leg but Swanson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Swanson continues to drive forward. Marciano closes the distance and clinches. Swanson breaks from the clinch.
Marciano shoots in but no luck this time. Marciano uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Swanson. Marciano throws a big counter head kick but Swanson avoids it with no problem. Marciano darts in looking for a takedown but Swanson gets double underhooks and turns Marciano into the cage. Swanson throws a head kick that misses. Swanson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Marciano should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Marciano tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Marciano is trying hard to land a takedown here. Swanson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Marciano throws a wild hook but Swanson just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Marciano gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Swanson raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dandy Swanson! Dandy Swanson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sue with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lee to score with a decent uppercut. Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sue looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Sue takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like A Boy Named Sue has been cut. Lee throws a right hand that Sue ducks under and follows up with a left that Sue also avoids with ease. Lee rushes Sue with punches - Sue moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Sue goes down! Lee follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

and Kade counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kade avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kade got a little sloppy there for a moment and Diaz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kade has managed to get both his arms back between Diaz's legs - danger averted. Kade really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kade is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Diaz has control of Kade's left arm, preventing Kade from doing any damage. Kade trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Diaz seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Diaz has his hands on Kade's head, controlling the position. Diaz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kade is aware though and is defending well.

He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kade frees his head nicely. Oh but Diaz has switched to an armbar! Kade is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Gashimov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kalman pinned against the cage. Kalman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Azamat Gashimov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gashimov keeps the fight on the outside. Kalman wants to clinch and Gashimov counters with a shoot takedown. Kalman fights it but they end up in guard. Gashimov drops back looking for a leg! Kalman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kalman manages to kick Gashimov off! Gashimov jumps back into Kalman's guard. Kalman keeping moving, preventing Gashimov from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gashimov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kalman can't keep his opponent in guard - Gashimov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Kalman is refusing to be controlled, as Gashimov sits in half guard. Gashimov in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kalman tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gashimov!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mays swings for the body but Maer moves out of range.
Maer shoots in looking for a takedown. Mays tries to sprawl out of it but Maer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mays manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. It looked like Mays was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Maer. Maer tries for a takedown but Mays sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Maer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Mays misses the jab. Mays jabs Maer right on the nose. Maer blinks but takes it well. Maer shoots in looking for a takedown but Mays manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Maer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Elvin Mays has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Maer. Maer dives in for a single leg takedown but Mays sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Maer misses with a takedown attempt - Mays sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mays digs a good body shot into Maer's ribs. Mays ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maer moves away. Maer gets cracked there but stands up to it.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mays connects with a nice short shot to Maer's temple. Mays is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Maer! Mays lands a couple of good shots and Maer has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Mays is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Mays scores with punches to the body.

We've been told by Snore's head coaches at HWP Forcefield that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Teller misses with a double jab.
Snore fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Teller throws a hook but Snore blocks it. Snore with a nice cross. Snore connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A punch combination from Teller misses. Max Teller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Teller misses with a right hand and Snore counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Snore. Snore scores with an uppercut up the middle. Snore gets through Teller's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Snore lands a left hand that snaps the head of Teller backwards. Snore lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Snore lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Snore lands with a short shot to the head. A short right from Snore on the inside. Snore makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Snore lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hate keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gracie tries to move into range but Hate moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hate circles away. Nice sprawl there from Hate as Gracie shoots in. Harry Hate has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helio Gracie. Hate attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Hate lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gracie's sensitive parts. Hate bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Gracie moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Helio Gracie has been cut. Hate leaves Gracie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Gracie moves out of range as Hate throws a body kick.
Hate tries to land a front kick but Gracie steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Gracie fails in his attempt to clinch. Hate displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie. Hate thows a body kick. Gracie tries to catch it but that hurt him. Gracie looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round. A solid body kick from Hate. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gracie crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hate - the referee stops the clock and Gracie gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hate. Gracie manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Hate bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Gracie on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Hate thows a body kick. Gracie tries to catch it but that hurt him. A shot to the liver by Hate. Beautiful body shot. Harry Hate is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hate throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. A slapping leg kick lands for Hate.
Gracie has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Hate. Hate throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. This has been an exciting period of action! Hate feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down. Hate throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hate throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Gracie's coach down at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $600 fee) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gracie's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Gracie blocks a head kick by Hate.
Gracie steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Hate. Hate dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gracie drops his hands momentarily and Hate takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Hate throws a body kick that misses. Gracie changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Hate lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Hate takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hate lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Gracie is rocked! A slapping body kick lands there for Hate. Hate batters Gracie with a massive right followed by a huge left! Gracie is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Hate lands a final crushing right hand to drop Gracie to the mat with a gruesome thud! Hate is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Harry Hate tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool. Helio Gracie was interviewed post fight and said 'I'd like to thank my opponent for giving me a chance making him better just by entering ring.'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Khan lands in his opponent's guard. Khan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Khan trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Bwarnt manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Bwarnt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bwarnt postures up.

Khan tries to free his leg and advance position but Bwarnt is retaining full guard. Khan has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Reddit Heroes. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Bwarnt wants to stand but Khan is controlling the position. Khan trying to control but Bwarnt is working from the bottom. Khan won't allow Bwarnt to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Khan wants to pass the guard but Bwarnt is keeping the position. Bwarnt is looking to stand up but Khan isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Khan stands and throws Bwarnt's legs to the side, diving into side control. Khan has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Bwarnt! Khan is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bwarnt is surviving well by controlling Khan's body position as best he can. Khan throwing strikes here but Bwarnt is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
