Attack tries to clinch but Churchill is having none of it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharitonov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tyson throws a hook but Kharitonov blocks it.
Kharitonov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tyson throws a poor cross that misses
and Kharitonov counters with a left to the body.
Tyson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kharitonov manages to avoid it.
Kharitonov now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Tyson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
No joy there for Kharitonov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tyson swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kharitonov counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Tyson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Tyson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mike Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kharitonov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tyson.
Tyson connects with a crisp jab.

It looks like Boris Kharitonov has been cut.
Tyson cracks Kharitonov with a good jab.
Kharitonov jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Tyson counters with a nice right hand that sends Kharitonov toppling to the canvas! Kharitonov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tyson finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
BOOM! Tyson lands a beautiful left hook that drops Kharitonov. Kharitonov tries to recover but Tyson is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Kharitonov lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
