0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Emet Golem! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Golem tries to bum rush Bill with a series of wild strikes but Bill uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Golem misses with a looping right. Golem swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bill has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Golem finds it's way round the side to connect with Bill's head. Emet Golem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Golem fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Golem throws a poor cross that misses
and Bill counters with a nice double leg into side control. Golem won't be happy with that. Golem is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bill has just dragged him back down to the mat. Bill tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bill has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bill is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Golem knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bill has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Golem is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bill yanks on the arm and Golem is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bill.

Adamek comes into the arena with I Am The Sword - Motorhead blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ortiz's choice of entrance music: I am a real American. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz looks to land a left hand but Adamek moved out of range nicely. Adamek dodges the punch combination from Ortiz.
A counter left hand to the body from Adamek misses its target. Adamek shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ortiz as he avoids it easily. Ortiz throws a counter combo. Adamek fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ortiz avoids it really well and circles away. Adamek bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ortiz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. That sent Ap Nudd stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Ortiz lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Ortiz lands with a good body shot. Ap Nudd tries a head kick but it misses.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ortiz takes a shot right to the bread basket. Ortiz bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ap Nudd's head. Ortiz has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Ortiz throws a leg kick which misses Ap Nudd's front leg but catches the back leg as Ap Nudd tries to avoid it. A kick lands to the mid section there for Ortiz. Ortiz lands with a good body shot. A left lands for Ortiz. Ortiz cracks Ap Nudd with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Ortiz throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Ap Nudd moves out of range of the body kick from Ortiz.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Todd throws a right hand that Woodley ducks under and follows up with a left that Woodley also avoids with ease. Todd misses with a two punch combination.

It looked like Woodley wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Woodley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Woodley looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sloppy strikes from Todd. Those never looked like landing. Comanche Todd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Todd lands with a shot to the body. A telegraphed right hand from Todd misses the target. Thompson lands with a right hand. Kj Barakus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Barakus takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Barakus tries to clinch but Thompson is having none of it. Thompson cracks Barakus with a good jab. Barakus is still on wobbly legs! Can Thompson finish him? Thompson closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Barakus! Thompson dives in looking to finish! Barakus is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

A very excited looking Hunter Thompson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
