The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bones just misses with a punch to the body.
Bones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Driver with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rusty Driver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bones shoots in for a double leg but Driver sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice takedown defense from Driver. No joy for Bones on that attempt.
Bones fails to land the takedown.
A nice side step and Driver releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brother Bones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Driver fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bones has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Bones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Driver drops Bones with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bones looks back up at him and smiles so Driver waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Brother Bones has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bones misses with a takedown attempt - Driver sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bones is breathing heavily.
Driver pushes Bones away with a front kick.
Driver flashes Bones a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Bones's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Bones crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Driver punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Hoares manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Aikawa on his heels. He'll look to pass Aikawa's guard now, I'm sure.

Hoares got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aikawa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hoares has managed to get both his arms back between Aikawa's legs - danger averted.

Aikawa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hoares gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
