The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Bram misses. Kyryluik lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Bram feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kyryluiks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Kyryluik misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bram connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Darcy Kyryluik has been cut. Bram feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kyryluik sprawling to the canvas! Kyryluik rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bram finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kyryluik misses with a double jab.
Donk. Bram catches Kyryluik right on the button with a cross. Bram looks to land a combination but Kyryluik avoids it well. Bram feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kyryluik sprawling to the canvas! Kyryluik rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bram finish him?!
Bram lands a right hook to the body.
Bram drops Kyryluik with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kyryluik looks back up at him and smiles so Bram waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bram punishes Kyryluik's body with a nice straight punch. Kyryluik looks winded! Bram will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kyryluik throws a counter combo. Bram cracks Kyryluik with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bram has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kyryluik to stand back up! Bram fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Kyryluik square on the jaw! Damn, Kyryluik is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dwayne Boskins! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boskins looks to land a combination. Maafala sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Itula Maafala has been cut. Maafala has managed to clinch.
Boskins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boskins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Maafala swats him away and circles back towards the center. Maafala throws a big counter combination but Boskins scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Maafala slips a jab and a cross from Boskins.
As Boskins tries to get set, Maafala tries to push him back and clinch up but Boskins manages to avoid the attempt. Maafala tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boskins swats him away and circles back towards the center. Boskins is looking for the big counter here. Boskins gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Maafala counters with a straight right hand. Maafala tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boskins paws at him with a jab and circles away. Maafala moves into range and clinches up with Boskins. Maafala misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Boskins.
Boskins has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Maafala uses from the top position. Maafala preventing the sweep. Maafala postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boskins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maafala doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Maafala manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Maafala is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Maafala won't allow Boskins to get back to his feet. Maafala connects with a couple of short punches. Maafala pushes down on Boskins's leg and manages to get into half guard. Maafala throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Maafala connects with a nice short shot to Boskins's temple. Maafala missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boskins is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Maafala's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Maafala's back! Even with his hooks in, Boskins manages to miss with strikes from the back. Maafala knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boskins on the ground. Boskins is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Maafala is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Boskins gets a double leg takedown into Maafala's guard. Maafala is trying to control the position but Boskins postures up. Maafala tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maafala is trying to keep Boskins in close.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. We've been told by Maafala's head coaches at Kombat MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Boskins bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Boskins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boskins wants it to stay on the feet. Boskins moves into the clinch successfully.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Maafala lands a couple of elbows. Boskins preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Boskins wants to stand but Maafala is controlling the position. Maafala looking to sit in guard and control but Boskins gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Maafala throws a strike but Boskins rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Boskins trying to control the position from guard on top but Maafala is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boskins fails with the takedown. Boskins will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Boskins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Boskins throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Maafala. Maafala keeps the fight on the outside. Maafala tries to clinch up. Maafala wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight stays on the outside here - Boskins looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Maafala throwing a counter right hand but Boskins manages to avoid it. Boskins lands with a slapping head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boskins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Maafala defends it nicely. Itula Maafala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dwayne Boskins. Maafala swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Maafala is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Boskins is keeping busy. Maafala scores with a nice hook to the head. Maafala is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Boskins changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Maafala fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Maafala tries to clinch up but Boskins circles away and keeps his distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Boskins has closed the distance and engaged Maafala in a clinch.
Boskins has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Maafala after a bit of a struggle. Maafala is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Boskins jumps guard but Maafala turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Boskins is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Boskins fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Boskins is trying to drag Maafala to the mat but Maafala just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Maafala tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Boskins avoids it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boskins ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Boskins no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Dwayne Boskins is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Maafala with a nice head shot there.
And that's the end of the fight! Dwayne Boskins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Boskins winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shephard on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kleinschmidt throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Shephard throws a counter combo. Kleinschmidt fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Jack Shephard has been cut. Kleinschmidt throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Kleinschmidt throws a head kick that misses. Shephard misses with a double jab.
Both fighters circling a little - Kleinschmidt finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Kleinschmidt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kleinschmidt scores with the left hand. Shephard knows he should have avoided that one. Kleinschmidt connects with a body shot that sends Shephard's belly button to the back. Elroy Kleinschmidt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A chopping leg kick lands by Kleinschmidt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kleinschmidt fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. Kleinschmidt fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Shephard checks it well. Kleinschmidt fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Kleinschmidt throws a half hearted mid kick. Kleinschmidt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Shephard sees it coming and avoids it easily. Elroy Kleinschmidt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Shephard avoids the head kick by Kleinschmidt.
Shephard pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kleinschmidt back to the cage. Shephard follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Shephard tries to free his leg and advance position but Kleinschmidt is retaining full guard. Kleinschmidt keeping moving, preventing Shephard from controlling successfully.

I think Uzannavabizch might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Brandon Loveladdy's band WE ARE THE CHOSEN : BREAKING THE KARMIC CYCLE. Smith has chosen The Mercenary as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flay dips to his left and cracks Baird with an uppercut! Flay slips a jab from Baird. Baird is trying hard to land a takedown here. Flay sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Flay paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Baird throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Baird has taken the fight to the clinch.
Flay goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Baird avoids a wild elbow strike from Flay. Flay misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Baird.
Baird changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Flay fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Flay eats them both and turns towards Baird to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Baird throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Baird drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Baird moves into full mount! Baird landing strikes from the mount and Flay is in trouble! Baird takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Baird raining down shots from the mount! Flay stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Flay swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Flay has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Baird just misses with a punch to the body.

Flay will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Poor strikes thrown by Flay there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
