3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Abiodun Havilah ! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Havilah shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Calvancante's guard. Havilah slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Calvancante is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Havilah trying to stand up but can't free himself from Calvancante's guard. Calvancante not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Havilah is looking to stand up but Calvancante won't let him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Calvancante keeping full guard, as Havilah tries to pass. Calvancante is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Havilah rolls with it to try and escape but Calvancante cranks on the arm and Havilah is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Munanaposa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Odair sprawls well. Odair wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Munanaposa gets slowly back to his feet. Munanaposa fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Munanaposa tries for a takedown but Odair circles away easily letting Odair counter with a right hand.
Munanaposa is rocked! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for La Tigre Munanaposa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Odair throws an overhand right that drops Munanaposa like a sack of potatoes! Odair dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris throws a hook but Sunderland avoids it easily. Harris looks to score with a jab to the body but Sunderland is just out of range. Sunderland shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Harris as he avoids it easily. Sunderland swats away the attempt to clinch by Harris. Harris goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Sunderland closes the distance and clinches up with Harris, looking for a takedown. Sunderland pushes Harris against the cage but Harris circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sunderland throws a head kick that misses. The fight moves into the clinch position. Harris misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sunderland.

It looked like Harris was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sunderland. Sunderland fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Harris avoids it really well and circles away. Harris appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Sunderland forces Harris back against the cage and clinches. Harris taking a breather. Harris holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Sunderland is trying to drag Harris to the mat but Harris just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Harris lands with a short shot to the head. Harris is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sunderland is defending well for now.

Harris is controlling Sunderland's posture. Sunderland with a flurry of punches that miss. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sunderland accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sunderland working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Harris is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sunderland can do to turn this around? Sunderland throws a sloppy strike and Harris has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ripgut's calf. Sanchez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ripgut throwing a counter right hand but Sanchez manages to avoid it. Sanchez lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Sean Ripgut has been cut. Ripgut tries to clinch but Sanchez moves out of range. Horrible takedown attempt by Ripgut or perhaps it was just good defense by Sanchez, which made it look bad. Ripgut showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sanchez.
Sanchez has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ripgut is landing a low percentage of strikes. Ripgut shoots in for a takedown and gets it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Ripgut. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sanchez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ripgut is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sanchez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sanchez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ripgut tries for a kimura but Sanchez is defending well. Sanchez is trying to improve his position. Sanchez throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ripgut being controlled here momentarily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ripgut is in close to Sanchez's body, working some short punches and elbows. Sanchez controls Ripgut momentarily but Ripgut frees himself. Ripgut throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ripgut missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Sanchez has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Ripgut has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sanchez breaks the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Downtime lands an overhand right. Downtime misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Downtime tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Speed was well out of range. Poor timing from Downtime. Sloppy strikes from Downtime. Those never looked like landing. Downtime takes a body punch but keeps moving. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Speed, as that shot connected.

Downtime lands a jab to Speed's midsection. Downtime connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Fujita shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shore sprawls well. Shore wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fujita gets slowly back to his feet. A head kick misses from Fujita. Donk. Shore catches Fujita right on the button with a cross. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fujita tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shore sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fujita somewhat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shore throws a big shot that misses. Shore throws a nice looking combination but Fujita bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Shore misses with a wild combination.
Fujita takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Shore uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fujita. Shore scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Nice shot lands for Shore. Shore misses with a looping left. Shore throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A counter left hand to the body from Fujita misses its target. A combination from Fujita does no damage. Fujita shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Fujita connects with a crisp jab. Fujita shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shore's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shore is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Shore controls Fujita momentarily but Fujita frees himself. Shore wants to sweep here but Fujita controlling him for the moment. Shore throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shore working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Fujita has passed into half guard!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Shore is trying to get back to full guard. Fujita seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Fujita works his way into full mount! Shore takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Shore tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fujita trying to control but he's not successful this time. Fujita lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kazaki Fujita will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Fujita closes the distance but Shore moves to the side and Shore counters with a series of strikes. Fujita will be more careful next time no doubt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fujita is defended easily by Shore. It seemed like Shore was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Shore shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fujita as he jumps to the side. Shore takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. The fight moves into the clinch position. Fujita's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fujita misses with an uppercut. Shore saw that one coming. Oooooh!!! Shore has knocked Fujita down with a huge combo! Shore steps away and waves a wobbly Fujita back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! We've been informed that Shore has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. This has been an exciting period of action! Shore closes the distance and pushes Fujita back into the cage. Shore pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shore tries to bum rush Fujita with a series of wild strikes but Fujita uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Delvin Shore seems to be getting the better of the standup. Shore with a jab. Fujita is looking to clinch but Shore is avoiding it.
Fujita moves out of range of the strikes. Shore throws the left hand but Fujita avoids the punch easily. Shore pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Shore drops Fujita with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Fujita! Shore dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Mercado tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mercado bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mattus's guard. Mattus working a defensive guard here.
