These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

7 - 20 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Garkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Spartak Yuri! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garkov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Garkov working the body and head with strikes. Yuri is trying to improve his position. Garkov takes a little break here. Yuri wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Garkov landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Garkov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Yuri is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Yuri felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Garkov creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Yuri takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Garkov content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Garkov working the ground and pound. Garkov working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Garkov connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Yuri some visible discomfort.
Garkov lands a few punches from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garkov landing strikes. Garkov works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Garkov lands a decent elbow from side control. Garkov passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Yuri! Garkov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Garkov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Yuri looks a forlorn figure.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zapata wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Kosciuszko scores with a nice head shot. Zapata lands a big head kick that sends Kosciuszko tumbling to the mat! Zapata takes a step backwards and waves Kosciuszko back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kosciuszko is rocked!
It looks like Bartek Kosciuszko has been cut. Zapata ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Kosciuszko's jaw. Kosciuszko's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Zapata does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

and Kane counters with a left and a right that stings Oleynik. Kane shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kane showed some decent athleticism there. Oleynik is looking for a sweep. Kane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kane is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Oleynik has managed to free his arm - good work. Oleynik is looking for a sweep. Kane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kane lands strikes from half guard. Oleynik actively working from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kane wants to pass the guard but Oleynik is defending well.

Kane shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kane scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oleynik swivels though and keeps the full guard. Alexey Oleynik overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kane won't allow Oleynik to sweep him here. Oleynik is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kane is aware though and is defending well. Kane wants to get up but he can't break Oleynik's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kane looking to sit in guard and control but Oleynik gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oleynik preventing the sweep. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kane holds on and takes a little breather. Oleynik throws an elbow that misses. Kane uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Oleynik's guard. Nice move by Kane!

Kane lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Oleynik tries to improve position but can't. Kane wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Oleynik, who protects the arm well. Kane controls the position. Oleynik tries to buck Kane off but Kane is having none of it.

Oleynik is looking to regain half guard here but Kane keeps moving and retains side control. Oleynik is trying to work for a sweep but Kane has mounted him! Kane takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kane cracks Oleynik with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kane is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Oleynik has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Oleynik! Oleynik looking to pass the guard. Oleynik throwing strikes from guard but Kane blocks nicely. Oleynik being controlled here momentarily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Oleynik works a leg free and moves into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dane Kane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brooks jabs Smith to the body, keeping him at a distance. Brooks keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Brooks takes the fight into the clinch. Smith is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brooks gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Brooks is pressed up against the cage. Smith has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brooks down to the mat. Brooks avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blue Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brooks goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Dakota Brooks dominated that round. The cut man is working on Blue Smith's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Brooks shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A little feinted left hand from Smith on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Brooks finds Smith's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Smith flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Brooks lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Smith will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dakota Brooks! A very excited looking Dakota Brooks made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yusev gets tackled into the cage by Sweat. Sweat maintains the clinch. Sweat throws a punch but it's blocked by Yusev. Sweat is looking to break free of the clinch but Yusev has double underhooks. Sweat is trying to drag Yusev to the mat but Yusev just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Yusev jumps into guard, dragging Sweat to the mat.

Sweat has been working on his balance at Bobby B's, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Yusev. Yusev stalling against the cage.
Sweat pulls guard. Yusev drops back looking for a leg! Sweat is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sweat manages to kick Yusev off! Yusev jumps back into Sweat's guard. Yusev gets to his feet. Sweat looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sweat leaves Yusev with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Yusev tries to close the distance and clinch but Sweat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The fight moves into the clinch position. Yusev slows down the pace here.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yusev goes for a takedown attempt but Sweat pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sweat stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sweat wants it to stay on the feet. An attempted straight right counter from Sweat misses the target. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Showtime. No joy for McAfee on that attempt. Showtime moves into the clinch. Showtime pulls guard successfully.

Maywho gets caught flat footed, as Utah shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Utah is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Maywho keeping full guard, as Utah tries to pass. Utah trying to control the position from guard on top but Maywho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Maywho is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Utah postures up in Maywho's guard and throws a big left but Maywho blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maywho is pulling down on Utah's head. It's preventing any offense from Utah, at least for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Utah trying to control but Maywho is working from the bottom. Johny Utah showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Carl Maywho's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Maywho tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Utah gets the takedown into side control. Maywho is looking to reverse the position. Maywho takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Utah throws an elbow but Maywho slips to the side and avoids it well. Utah gets to mount! Maywho was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. The referee warns Maywho that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Maywho is rocked! Utah unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Maywho wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Utah celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holloway looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Holloway shoots in and bounces Jitsu off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Holloway is looking to work some ground and pound but Jitsu has wrist control. Jitsu keeping moving, preventing Holloway from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holloway's corner is telling him to maintain position. Jitsu keeping moving, preventing Holloway from controlling successfully. Jitsu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Holloway is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jitsu has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Holloway doesn't defend quickly enough and Jitsu has managed to lock this one up! Can Holloway escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Jitsu on a fantastic submission victory.
