Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Han Solo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ney Schincariol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Solo comes into the arena with Im Han Solo blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Han Solo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ney Schincariol! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schincariol tries to close the distance and clinch up but Solo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Schincariol scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Solo is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Schincariol trying to control from half guard but Solo is working away. Solo wants to control but Schincariol is keeping busy and won't allow it. Solo is not content to let Schincariol control the position. Schincariol wants to stand up but Solo is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Solo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Schincariol is working away from the top position though. Schincariol is trying to work for a kimura but Solo is defending well.

Schincariol looking to control but Solo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Solo is desperately trying to improve his position but Schincariol has a good base and remains in mount. Schincariol manages to capitalize on a mistake by Solo to take his back! Schincariol controlling well, preventing Solo from escaping the position.

Schincariol really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Solo. Schincariol avoiding Solo 's attempts to control his hands. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Schincariol punches Solo on the ear. Solo tries to escape but Schincariol has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Solo is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Schincariol gets his way!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Schincariol lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Solo throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Schincariol decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Ney Schincariol is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Solo shoots in but no luck this time. Schincariol gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Solo shoots for a takedown but Schincariol saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Schincariol throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Solo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Schincariol is in Solo's guard.

Solo looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Solo looking for submissions off his back. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Schincariol keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Solo looking for a kimura from the bottom but Schincariol passes into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. You can see the frustration on Solo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Schincariol working the ground and pound from side control. Solo can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Solo regains half guard. Schincariol is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Solo sees it coming and defends easily. Solo looking for submissions off his back.

Schincariol tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Solo tries to roll over but Schincariol keeps him under control. Schincariol looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Han Solo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Schincariol is trying to control. Solo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Schincariol changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Solo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Solo is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Schincariol off and has taken his back! Schincariol just trying to survive but Solo is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Schincariol preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Solo. Schincariol fending off the submission attempt from Solo. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Schincariol is in a bad position with Solo working for a choke. Schincariol manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Ney Schincariol comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Schincariol has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
