0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Li Tiexuan! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tiexuan digs a good body shot into Nickels's ribs. Nickels shoots in and drives through. Tiexuan sprawls well. Nickels plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Nickels fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nickels shoots and misses and Tiexuan counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kaleb Nickels. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tiexuan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nickels has time to react. Nickels misses with a takedown and Tiexuan counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Kaleb Nickels has been cut. Nickels gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Tiexuan gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Magamedov.
Horrible takedown attempt by Garcia or perhaps it was just good defense by Magamedov, which made it look bad. Magamedov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Still in half guard, Magamedov seems content to control. Let's hope that Magamedov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Magamedov moves nicely into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garcia struggling a bit here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Garcia trying to control but Magamedov flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Magamedov trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Garcia doesn't escape. Garcia looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Magamedov scores with punches and elbows. Magamedov has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Garcia's body.
Magamedov has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Garcia is defending well but eventually Magamedov manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Garcia has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

Sremmurd tries to avoid it but Ericsson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sremmurd to the ground. Sremmurd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sremmurd rushes Ericsson and presses him up against the cage. Ericsson tries to pull guard but Sremmurd won't allow it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slack dives in and grabs Sceviour's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sceviour pushes down on Slack's head and hops out. Sceviour tries to counter by clinching up but Slack breaks away and moves out of range. Sceviour throws a series of punches but Slack moves out of range. Slack takes the fight into the clinch. Slack can't break the clinch.
Sceviour escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Slack changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Slack tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Sceviour counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sceviour wants to control from the top but Slack keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slack has his hands on Sceviour's head, controlling the position. Sceviour is in close to Slack's body, working some short punches and elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sceviour sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Slack's guard. Slack manages to get to full guard.
Sceviour has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Slack is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sceviour wants to control from the top but Slack keeps moving. Sceviour is stalling in the full guard. Slack pulls Sceviour in to control the position. Sceviour would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Sceviour misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Slack fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Aleksey Sceviour has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Slack. Sceviour tries to clinch there but Slack circles away.

Is there anything that Slack can do to turn this around? Sceviour has control of an arm but Slack manages to advance to Sceviour's back! Slack wants to control but Sceviour is keeping busy. Slack working for a choke but Sceviour reverses nicely into Slack 's guard. Sceviour not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Sceviour stays in close to Slack's body and controls the position. Slack is looking to sweep but instead, Sceviour has passed into half guard.

Ronik tries to avoid it but Duran manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ronik to the ground. Ronik escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ronik misses with a takedown attempt - Duran sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Duran dives in and scores a takedown into Ronik's guard.
